If Tony was booking we wouldn’t have even made it this far
Sami and Roman would have had a 60 minute time limit draw on Smackdown before the storyline even got legs, and 3x IWGP Jr featherweight champion Niomichi Yokozawa would have shown up in a white tee and stared Roman down to build towards their one-off dream match at mania. Moxley would have started bleeding and Meltzer would have given it 10 stars probably

Lesnar tried to commit vehicular homicide against them. As for Sami the tag titles are exactly what he & KO need. People would pop if he won the world title from Reigns, but the novelty would wear off in a month and people would want another champion. Sami & KO could be tag champs for at least half a year.
