They’ve only really invested in Reigns to the point where they havent built anyone up to dethrone him.

They basically were so happy that the fans finally connected to him and they said fukk everybody else.

And now they’re kinda screwed.

Bloodline storyline and Reigns has been great but at the same time you can’t put your eggs in one basket.

Should have never given him/them both belts. Imo .

Sami is good but we all know they don’t love him that much behind the scenes, to make him dethrone Reigns. No matter how much he gets cheered.

They’ve booked Sami as a comedic character for years now. Now suddenly they’re gonna book him to beat the longest reigning champ in the modern era? I think not

After tonight ppl I change my mind:wow: give the Sami the belt. If not give it to Jey.

It’s pretty obvious to me that we won’t get the Sami ending we want. I’m okay with it because Cody is the closest thing to Cena’s successor that WWE has had since Cena dipped and he’s already missed a ton of time. Kinda have to go full steam ahead with him at this point even if it means Sami won’t get the big payoff via dethroning Roman. It is what it is.

In a perfect world, Sami is the right choice. But.. I get it. Again, WWE hasn’t had a true face of the company since Cena. As great as Roman is, he lacks the charm and likable charismatic personality to truly replace Cena, and he portrays a villain on tv. Cody is the first guy they've pushed that truly seems to have that crossover ability to take the ball and run with it on the next level. Like really be in the field doing make a wishes, kissing babies, hosting ESPY’s etc. you don’t find that everyday. Kinda have to put all ya marbles in him and send him to the moon at this point.

Sorry Sami :francis:

i agree that the story has outgrown the tag titles but they have more than enough heat on the Usos and Owens and everything around the story to have that secondary payoff feel "big" as hell because of all involved.

TBH, I don't know what they're having close night 1 of Mania (probably Lesnar/Lashley), BUT I'd actually say KO/Sami vs The Usos might be the first tag title match in Mania history that could main event because of how hot this shyt has gotten.

I can almost guarantee night one will be main evented by the obligatory women’s match

:yeshrug: I dunno... they didn't headline either night with a women's match last year... I don't think either match this year will be big enough to close a night, at least not bigger than Lesnar/Lashley.

They can't give it to Sami because of their Saudi-related endeavors. He can't represent them as champion in all facets.

Charlotte/Rhea don't feel big enough to close to me..
I agree with this, but depending on how the fans take to Charlotte between now and ‘Mania, as well as how the story’s built leading up to, I could see a double turn during the match.

Coupled with Rhea winning, it really could be a star making moment for her. Hell, Bianca-Rhea might be even more of a money match, down the line, as a result

Seth defending Sami would be a dope storyline as well as street profits taking the belts off the USOs.

WM should be:
Roman vs Rollins
Sami vs Solo
Profits vs USOs

I don't find the niqqa with the blonde hair and the lisp convincing enough, sorry.
