The fact that a lot of people consider Starfield the weakest game on the list speaks volumes to how good of a year we had. And I know I’m missing some games I don’t care for like Mario and armored core.

Although I agree with you that that year is better, there are only four classic games on that list in Half Life 2, GTA, Halo 2 and MG3. There is a lot of "good" or just ok stuff in that pic.
