Are people actually excited for a new GTA?

Rockstar's track record is still impeccable but it just feels like something has fundementally changed about them now with the success of GTA Online and recent key figures leaving the company.

Absolutely.
The last three Rockstar games were Max Payne 3, GTA 5, and RDR 2. All top notch single player experiences.
They're doing scumbag shyt with gta and red dead online, but they also still provide us with good single player gameplay.

Won’t say I’m excited but I am curious to see what they do especially with the story. GTA V online is a monster that got better with time and people are still playing it today.

Nah, I been a fan since GTA2 but I don't care for online and I didn't really like the single player in GTA V. I might just be too old for it
Has online changed the GTA V map at all or are you transported into a smaller sandbox for the DLC they keep releasing, just wondering about the free roam when you are not doing a mission

I always will until they fall on their face. I am always intrigued by the city they choose for us to explore and get familiar with the other surrounding areas.

definitely not for the campaign and so-so for online
I don’t ever think they will come close to matching how fun online was on the PS3/360 and the on the initial jump to PS4/X1...I just don’t know what else they can do to refresh the experience but I am interested to see where they go with it

that was my fav gta online experience. Before it turned into a full blown MMO
