Most have different settings for the types of rice/grains/oats.
The heater uses fuzzy logic to adjust the time and temperature, so you should get the perfect rice and then have it chillax for the rest of the day if you're gonna come back to it.

I was looking at this one real hard

But decided against it because I just don't eat enough rice to justify the cost.

I can't see the link. Can you share the name.

To be clear,

It's true that you don't NEED a rice cooker. But I find it helpful for meal prep (although I don't eat as much rice now).

And if I am making certain dishes, I make rice the old way so I can get the crunchy rice at the bottom.
Damn you not on that rice/chicken gym wave anymore. :smh: 5 years strong brudda. 💪

100% I can't believe people don't use them if they can afford one.

The Zojirushi "Keep Warm" setting is the absolute game changer. It's smart enough to keep the rice ideally warm for days.

Highly efficient: takes about 5 minutes total of cleaning/measuring and 60 minutes of wait time to prepare multiple servings of rice.

Get a Zojirushi NS-LGC05XB on Amazon. After it's cooked you can leave it in for 1-2 days (3 days I've heard) and take it right out good to go like it was freshly prepared. All types of different rice settings as well.

Work smarter, not harder.

Additionally, people really need to do a more through job cleaning their rice. Some folks rinsing it only once :scust: :hhh: :
