These new gamers aint built like us old school players. :smugfavre:

If they can't beat a game in one or two sittings, they get too frustrated. Gotta look up walk thrus on YouTube.

We would waste a good 2-3 hrs back in the day just trying to figure out how to jump over something that we kept dying on :to:

:boss:

If these super young gamers tried to play 8 and 16 bit games, they would cry bytch.

Metal Gear Rising dropped last month so no

man that mofo got on my nerves but I don't mind games leaving out a final boss fight as long as it is done correctly or if it fits in the game story properly the last game I like with out a boss fight that I can remember is Red Dead Redemption some didn't like it but I thought it was incredibly dope.

Did anyone play that dragon on witcher 2? :damn: I played it on regular and man he destroyed me so many times, I'm playing through again on dark and I stay getting murked by regular goons so the bosses are going to crush me.
I think in general it makes me feel accomplished when there's something really hard at the end where I get to use all the skills I learned throughout the game.
I remember the OG halo not having bosses but it's last level is still one of my favs when you have to drive the warthog through the pillar of autumn :whew: I must have beat that level like 50 times

man, I have been playing thru MGS peace walker for the past week on PS3, and that game has TOO many bosses. its like a 1 to 1 ratio of missions to bosses damn near. and I hate on that game how snake can't access too much of his arsenal like on MGS4. right now, I can only carry 2 guns, and some items like grenades. they sure dont try to make it easy on there. also the game doesn't pause when ur changing items like MGS4 does. the enemies will keep on shooting if you can't swap ur rations into your equipment selection quick enough. this has happened to me a number of times.

games like this an GTA don't have final bosses usually. just a final mission with hordes of enemies.

Metal Gear Rising shuts this whole thread down. Senator Armstrong is the most intense rage inducing boss I've fought since the final boss of Ninja Gaiden 2 from 2008. Gotta beat him several times in several forms back to back now thats true old school gaming
