I grew up with a few. But I’m a military brat who grew up with every race and ethnicity you can probably think of besides full blooded Native American. Most of the time it’d be Black father and Mexican mother, but sometimes you’d see the opposite.
Once I left the environment I grew up in, I’ve only seen it maybe twice. But I wasn’t really looking either. Like has already been said, you’ll probably see them and not think twice about it. Like Kid Cudi for example.

The reason is simple : More density of blacks throughout TX, shyt Dallas prolly 25% blacc . LA will never be that.
