Wasn't the price only 10k? I would accept that either unless I was broke.

And actually you’re wrong. With NIL and expanded playoffs it’s even more realistic. Ie Tulane—-yes, Tulane—- is a sleeper pick for the playoffs after getting the qb out of Oregon and two former elite WR recruits from Alabama and USC  literally some video game shyt

I said Grambling. :stopitslime:

This reaction is why the NCAA and EA win. They’ve conditioned fans to think small :umad:

100k is NOTHING. There’s probably no more than 20 legit ‘name brand’ college stars that would merit a figure like that. Manning, Ewers, Shaduer, Travis….shyt 20 might be generous. That’s only 2 million dollars. A drop in the bucket. 1 commercial would cover that cost

You used an obviously outrageous example an FCS school :comeon: You ain’t know about Tulane :umad: Hell Colorado would apply too.

The point you’re trying to get at I shut down: Building a bottom dweller program into a contender is now 100% more feasible. Just take the L

You might be too young to remember :pachaha: This isn’t new they been doing this since the beginning of video games

Ie Bill Belicheck has always been under a different name in madden

Who said it was new? I just posted one example

I was just saying it's funny because it's not like EA over the years hasn't found different ways to get around it. Chose the Bonds situation because of how ridiculous it was.

Breh I'm old enough to remember my pops being :ohhh: when he found out that MJ was gonna be in NBA Live 2000 :russ:

Doubt that.

He wouldn't have even released that statement if it was a money issue, he would still be in negotiations. Even then, he stands to gain more by opting in.
Unless I missed something, there was no official statement released.

College football is such a team and experience driven sport that the value of individual stars, who will cycle out in 1-4 years anyway, doesn't hold the same as it does in professional sports.

That being said, Arch Manning is making the right decision as his name and legacy holds enough weight on its own.

If I'm offensive lineman #71 or linebacker #45, sure, take the $600 and free copy; but what incentive do players like Arch and Hunter have to accept such a deal?
It's a great branding opportunity. I want 12-15 year olds who play this game who will be NFL enthusiasts in 10 years to already know me as early as possible... Conversely..how would him being in the game hurt him?

Y'all bored as fukk, huh? The NFL needs to go ahead and start their Spring 7 on 7 flag football league to entertain some of y'all before y'all really start going insane.

I was referencing the "focused on football" statement

Now theres a statement going around saying this:

So no, it's not a money issue, he's trying to calm down the hype.

The fact we're discussing this means he's one of the few college football players who already has an established "brand."

I've already covered this.
