Should we say the same about Ecuador tho :mjpls:

Should see their team, almost all black. The country tho? Im sure alooooot of racism toward blacks
Some of the blacks don't even consider themselves black. I know some dominican black dude who refuses to call himself black.....of course it's a different country from Ecuador but some black hispanics refuse to identify as black

Thanks.

How about Oman & Bahrain? I notice they tend to have a lot of black players as well. Are they black Arabs or just children of recent West African immigrants?
None are recent, some are descendants of slave trade, some have roots in migration. In Bahrain and Oman they’re more likely to have roots in East Africa. Oman especially has a lot people from Swahili coast and a lot of Swahili speakers.

their first gold medallist at the summer games was a black dude as well
There’s no real census that talks about ethnic background, so wouldn’t be surprised if it’s even bigger than 10 percent especially in Jeddah/Mecca area.

This is Jeddah:

I got a close homie that’s Black and born and raised in Saudi Arabia

They government paid for him to come to North America and go to school.
Is he one of those who come to the west and leave behind a child they refuse to claim because it's haram to have sex out of marriage?
Did he have any girlfriends while he was here?

Nah he’s an engineer.

The Saudi Government will pay for anyone from there that shows good grades in school to study at any college/university of their choice around the world and also give them allowances as students.

Original tweet is misleading there aren’t any Sudanese guys on the Saudi team, the majority of the black players are more likely to have roots in West Africa.

All of the Saudi team was born there, they don’t naturalize for sports like Qatar does because they have a big population base to draw from.

You can tell the African origins of some black Saudis through their family names. In addition to the players I posted about, some popular last names for Saudis are Al-Hawsawi (Hausa) Fallata (Fulani). The guys with names like that are often from families that are descendants of pilgrims to Mecca that settled in Saudi, much before modern transportation.

Qatar on other hand has a much smaller population base, so has often naturalized children of expats who went there for work. There’s about six guys with Sudanese parents on their team, most were born in Qatar or lived there since an early age.

Barnawi for Kanuri/Shuwa as well.

The average man in Oman looks like Michael Eric Dyson in a dishdasha lol.
