I could see that unfortunately. This type of setback absolutely murders the anticipation for a film, contrary to popular belief, there are windows you have to capitalize on a film's success. There are only a few exceptions I can think of off the top of my head.
And it will be be mid quality next year too

Paramount freaking claimed a spot against Avatar with Sonic 3 it’s not like other studios are worried.
