I am trying to get over my fear of rejection and approach these women but often find it hard because everyone has a god damn phone in their hand and earbuds in


I think I have a fear of getting clowned in public even though I know I shouldn't care. In a place with some privacy it's not a big deal, but in a crowded area with tons of eyeballs I get cold feet. Especially if the chick is walking towards me and id have to stop her to talk to her. It feels like I'm being intrusive


Whats the strategy? Numbers game? Selective shots?

I find that if in a situation where I have the chance to talk to them for prolonged periods of time, I have a great shot because I'm intelligent and funny and dont take myself too Seriously. Cold approaches in public is a lot harder.

Dress in a way that conveys who you are. Go out and approach people. Baby steps. Ask for directions. Ask for the time. Ask opinions. Talk and flirt with retail workers, they literally have to talk to you.

Have actionable goals. Make a goal to go out to a bar for a certain amount of time, approach a certain number of women and don't pull out of the approach until the woman pulls out or is creeped out.

To an extent yes it is a numbers game, but you will be a lot better off if you are socially calibrated.

If she's having a phone call then no matter what you do you are on the backfoot for the approach. If she's just using her phone or has earbuds on, you can use ask an indirect question without showing your intent and segue into showing intent throughout the conversation assuming the woman is still locked into the conversation.
