You have people with the highest end android phone and people with the cheapest tracphone trying to shyt on people with iPhones. RCS Texting been out for years. It's already built into the carrier (iMessages are less secure btw) But Apple is like. It's really not that big a deal to me though. I guess cause I just don't be texting like that.

yeah but the way apple sees it is that only android truly benefits because then there's no "bubble war" that they're winning in.

I personally don't care about it but the iPhone connects so well with the iPad and Mac that I would never switch my phone just because of the bubbles. That's what I meant. but someone with an android is more likely to switch from iPhone because they're not as tethered to the ecosystem.
from a technology standpoint it makes no sense but you have to dumb down and think of it from a tribal perspective.

it's really because of the bubble colors and group chat features. Apple doesn't want to give google that bone. there's no real "logic" behind it

if I was google right now I would honestly fight back and do the same thing with pixel and Samsung phones. change it to a different color and withhold features when talking to iPhones

Especially if it's on the samsung side. samsung has the biggest marketshare for a phone company worldwide and even an bigger portion when its just android alone. any of this ecosystem talk with apple can easily be done on a samsung. i can connect my phone with my tablet, can even pull up texts and apps on my windows laptop and pc, and even mirror the screen on my tv, shoot even on my fridge. not to mention they also have watches, galaxy buds, and smart tags. i can even control the dishwasher from my phone. plus who knows what other smart appliances samsung builds cuz they just not a phone company but a technological appliances company. All the samsung products are easily integrated with each other just like the "apple ecosystem" they rave about. i would say the samsung ecosystem is more expanded and apple limits the users to their own.

This is all true for but the basics apple still wins and we both know "link to windows" is garbage, you can even display youtube links on your computer when you receive them from someone. I will agree with everything and samsung is much cheaper.
