Because a lot of people buy them mid tier Android phones and when them shyts clonk out they complain, and their friends tell them to get an iPhone and then all of a sudden they become tech experts

There are distinct differences. Duckduckgo wanting to use Google's algorithm is not the same as apple adopting an industry standard service. Duckduckgo would be essentially asking for Google to give them proprietary technology and for what reason? Just so it can destroy Google's marketshare? I don't see the equivalency at all.

The Vimeo example is even less sensible. Why would Youtube show videos on the Vimeo platform? That makes no sense. However it does make sense for Apple to adopt RCS. Just like they adopted SMS and MMS before it because those things are standard across all platforms and it makes EVERYTHING secure. Not just Apple to Apple communications.

And no, more people have Android phones globally. It's only in the US where apple has a marketshare advantage and it's only recently that that happened. And it's a very slight advantage. As for that article that you posted. That's a lawsuit. It's not something that has actually been proven to have happened. They are suing because they THINK it happened. Until proven otherwise it's a frivolous lawsuit.

Now, I have no doubt Google is doing the whole blue vs green bubble campaign for no other reason than to line their own pockets. No doubt at all. But that doesn't mean that Apple is in the right here.

As for the overtaken claim yeah it’s us only but this problem is really a us problem because overseas more people use WhatsApp and don’t have this complaint like that
As for being the industry standard that’s the case for now but apple has never bowed to something just because it’s the standard and they get away with it because they’re the king right now
I just know apple won’t do it and they’ll make a whole completely different way of messaging before they do it or unless
government steps in like what they’re doing with usb C

It's really interesting the stance that Apple has taken on this. From a consumer standpoint they are willfully making the iPhone experience worst when communicating through messages with any other device natively that's not an iPhone. The green bubble just means SMS/MMS. Technically if you don't have good signal even between two iPhones in iMessage it will send through SMS/MMS i.e. "Green Bubble". RCS doesn't invite Android users to iMessage or nothing, it's just an upgrade from SMS that includes a bunch of dope features. I'm sure iPhone users are tried of sending highly compressed videos and photos to non-iPhone users, but if it gets more kids to join the cool club and buy an Apple device I'm sure Apple loves it.

I saw a clip where the idiots on fresh & fit were talking about dating and texting and mentioned this green text bubble shyt....I was dumbfounded when they were actually serious about it. As an old head, I can't imagine going to the store to buy an iPhone for this reason.

Man listen, this shyt is a yearly conversation. If a woman is complaining about a damn text bubble just move on. Of all the possible things to complain about.
