I have the same issue with Pet Sounds being that low as I did with King Of Blue. If you're making a list you have to acknowledge albums that changed music. Pet Sounds is one of the most important and influential albums of all time. Just get the sense this list was thrown together and the group understood they needed to add certain classic albums, but had no real reference for WHY beyond "well that album is always on these lists."

Sure that results in "boring" lists that don't change but if you're going to knock a classic album lower it should be because something truly amazing or innovative came later. Not...a generic Taylor Swift album that sold a lot of records.

Long story short...that's why you can't take lists seriously in this era.

I’m surprised no Carter 3 seeing as it seems they’re basing this list off cultural impact and not just the quality of the music. I would have bumped out Astroworld and added C3 instead. All in all, they’re probably putting a lot of younger people on to most of these albums List solid imo.

With Radiohead we know they're willing to give artists at least two placements. So I can see Stevie, Beatles, Beyonce, Prince and Led Zeppelin coming back

Thriller being number one is the only thing I'll get right in terms of order. I think this is the top 10

Not sure about Mobb, but Kendrick and Lauryn made some of the very best albums of all time, in any genre, so its only right. The Infamous is an amazing album too, but its mostly a great "rap album"

you can't have them low on these all time lists, SPECIALLY if we're talking about every musical genre.
tpab has been topping these all time lists for 10 years now, rightfully so. As far as i'm concerned, OK Computer from Radiohead is the only album that is on par with tpab from a pure musical angle

Wonder what kendrick album gonna make the list, if its GKMC it will probably be 9 or 8, if its TPAB it should be top 3 easy, but it all depends on the album they pick (the safe quality pick that tops all the lists or the commercial success?)

MJ will rank higher than Prince, because it's Apple, but realistically Prince shyt is better.

Was hoping for Atliens to make the list but with Aquemini being there already (and pretty low), I don't see them having ATL in the top 10. Imo it's a better album
It seels like they take commercial success into account, cuz there's only "big" albums on that list

I think more casual listeners consider Blueprint to be Jays magnum opus...and hip-hop heads choose RD.
