1989 sticks out like a sore thumb among those, it's especially bad seeing it clustered between The Chronic & What's Going On :hhh:

Not sure about Mobb, but Kendrick and Lauryn made some of the very best albums of all time, in any genre, so its only right. The Infamous is an amazing album too, but its mostly a great "rap album"

you can't have them low on these all time lists, SPECIALLY if we're talking about every musical genre.
tpab has been topping these all time lists for 10 years now, rightfully so. As far as i'm concerned, OK Computer from Radiohead is the only album that is on par with tpab from a pure musical angle

Because these albums are better, simple as that. I'm sure there's plenty of albums you personnally enjoy more, but I don't think you can name better albums

Thats correct though. Like Herbie Hancock said, you can argue tpab is a top 5 album in any genre...if you know music then it is what it is :manny:
it's not my personal favorite but none of my favorite album fukk with it as far as musical composition

I'm trippin or there was no Wayne or Jay?

I'm actually a bit disturbed by this...

He is the GREATEST RAPPER OF ALL TIMES WITH THE WACKEST/WEAKEST ALBUMS

He belongs FAR FAR AWAY from any ALBUMS list even more so in HISTORY, it's like he tries to not put out a fantastic project on purpose

These lists are are always uneven but still his impact was strictly druggie mumble rap in culturally downfall HIPHOP how do you even put that next to Marvin Michael Prince or these bands that influenced THE WHOLE fukkING WORLD ?!

With Radiohead we know they're willing to give artists at least two placements. So I can see Stevie, Beatles, Beyonce, Prince and Led Zeppelin coming back

Thriller being number one is the only thing I'll get right in terms of order. I think this is the top 10

1. Thriller
2. Abbey Road
3. The Miseducation of Lauren Hill
4. Purple Rain
5. The Velvet Rope
6. Lemonade
7. To Pimp A Butterfly
8. Songs in the Key of Life
9. Led Zeppelin IV ( Biggest if)
10. Blonde

Looks like my list is mostly correct. I can't believe I forgot Nirvana though. It's the quintessential 90s rock album (I hate it)

Revised top 10:

1.Thriller
2. Abbey Road
3. The Miseducation of Lauren Hill
4. Purple Rain
5. Nevermind
6. Lemonade
7. To Pimp A Butterfly
8. Songs in the Key of Life
9. Good Kidd Madd City
10. Blonde

Looks like Kendrick will have two albums in the top 10. My Kdot stan card aside that's ridiculous and a product of publications not taking lists seriously beyond clicks/engagement. I'm just happy Taylor Swift won't be in the top ten...yet. It's gonna happen eventually, just watch.

Personally if I had to put an album from 2000-2024 in the top ten it would be Kid A, which Apple put in the 30s lol. Which makes zero sense but hey, clicks and engagement. At some point I'd expect TPAB to get into the top 20 but it's too soon for that IMO.
