Solange album is indeed better, musically.
Is this the album where she totally ripped off Tweet's Southern Hummingbird album with shyt like Crane in the Sky??

and since we here, Solange Albums aint touching Tweet's Southern Hummingbird in no way, shape or form

Tpab is most definitely one of the very best albums in music history, regardless of the genre. I dare you find another album with such a flawless musical composition. It might not be your taste, but the album is undeniable from a pure quality angle. There isn't a single flaw in the musical composition and its execution :yeshrug:

shyt even influenced the likes of Prince, David Bowie and Herbie Hancock :yeshrug:

Not only does it make white people feel bad for whatever reason but anyone with ears could tell you that the execution in the songwriting and every single producer put their whole ass into this project, and only MBDTF on a commercial level is this grandiose and perfection from a production POV. One day people will stop dismissing it, even if its not everyones cup of tea.

I've also seen more and more SIng About Me I'm Dying of Thirst being one of the greatest tracks of all time as well, and I can't say it's not worth consideration. It's a fine wine.

How is it not better? lets put commercial success aside, how is that album not better based on techniques, writting, vocals, songwriting, melodies, composition?

Oh ya you can hear it, and most importantly, bowie producers literally talked about how it influenced the album

I'll have to do some research but I remember a GQ interview with one of bowie producer explaining how TPAB influenced the whole production of Bowie album

Herbie Hancock as well, he claimed he tried to make "TPAB part 2", even worked with the musicians, artists and producers listed on TPAB to recapture the sound kendrick went with.

Tpab's influence was huge, had a massive impact on LA's jazz as well
