This isn’t the answer people want to hear when it comes to female sexuality, but it’s really a mixed bag.

Excessive Promiscuity in general is a predictor of mental health issues, whether you are male or female. Believe it or not, on average, most people only had around 7-8 sexual partners in their lifetime in America. Although people like to lie either way, most ain’t getting down like that.

So those who are may have some mental shyt to unpack. Sex is for procreation and fun. Pleasure, stress relief and kids.

There’s nothing inherently wrong with the act. But some are out there fukking for every reason except pleasure. They fukking for power, to trap people, for status with the homies, to punish people, addiction, lack of respect for opposite sex...

It’s the mentality behind why somebody might be overly promiscuous and the extent to which they care for themselves when having excessive sexual partners that is more important than the act itself.

Meanwhile, if u are healthy, mentally sound, in control of ur body and reproductive health and in a good emotional place, you can have as much sex as you want and there are safeguards to protect you from the consequences. And most do have multiple partners before settling down.

But if ur an emotional wreck, been abused, hate the opposite sex or got a lot of hang ups, that leads to mistakes that will follow u. Like illegitimate kids, STDs, and all kinds of shyt. Because u not in the right headspace for that lifestyle.
It says a lot about the person if they're only having sex in a committed relationship vs avoiding relationships to have as much sex as possible with different people. People who are trying to sleep with different people in a limited amount of time signal a lack of commitment energy, so it's natural that when that person is trying to get into a committed relationship, when that past surfaces then it's a disqualifier.

I think my main issue, with promiscuity, stems from the traits of selfishness.

Mainly because I've seen the manipulation involved. For me its personal because my nan has always been a prototypical feminist in every esscene of what it stands. The problem is she's not selfless. She's very selfish. And they behavior didn't stop when she had a child at 20. She still went about living life on her own terms.

Well my problem with that mindset is, she never grew out of it. My mother felt neglected as a child because my grandma had to entertain a rotation of men. And she was cold hearted in regards to manipulating men and leading them. She would skip out on spending time with my mom and other family events because she busy with her rotation of men.

She was doing this all the way into her mid 50's when I was alive.

So once, again my problem is really the selfishness behind this mindset. I will never consider a woman like my nan, because even now with dementia, she still thinks men in 30's are making passes at her. And shes still selfish and entitled as duck.

That's why promiscuity is a turn off to me, because I know there's some of flawed behavior selfishness or entitled behavior that's been masked for. And people don't magically grow out that stage, unless they legit work at it. Most people are just good at masking their flaws.

This too. Fear of commitment manifests in some strange ways sometimes.

I knew the tweet was about taking responsibility of some sort before I even opened the thread

But honestly the weight society puts on sex is very weird.

Society:
Sex isn't everything :hula: Sex is what you are judged by
This too. I think if u go too far in any direction you got some hang ups u need to sort thru.

Our society is super weird about sex.

She should've just responded by posting that pic of that fakkit holding up the sign at the slut walk

I blame society for expecting very little of them. I mean really what do we expect?

Know basic life skills that every adult needs(cooking, cleaning, time management and organizing)

Be able to have a child which is a basic biological function that women can do barring some kind of medical condition or disease.

Basic human decency( empathy, respect, kindness)

That's it. Yet society also infantilizes women. (A man will pay for your dinner, a man will make more money than you, dont worry about going to post secondary school or becoming an interesting person, a 'real man' will be able to 'handle' you at your worst)

Then we have half-way feminists that want to make any criticism off limits. Dont slut shame, don't body shame, dont kink shame, believe all women. And the end result is a situation where nothing is expected of women, there is no accountability, and they're still not satisfied.
Truth. There are countries/societies/communities that don't have this problem for a reason
Lack of decorum somehow is seen as empowering and sign of talent around these parts

In essence they dont bring anything to the table, but they want you to bring everything including the damn table.

This society is the gold standard of confusion and contradicting ideas. The very things they tell you matter, either only certain people get, damn near unattainable for the average person, or you sell a piece of your soul to even get a glimpse.

Then at the end, you realized it wasn't worth it :wow:

1. It's about being reckless
And being reckless is the same regardless what age u reckless at

2. U can sleep around and be safe

The word consequences is not solely about negative

Thus her tweet was dumb

This is me playing devil's advocate for a moment, but how does anyone who sleeps around truly protect themselves?

If you have relegated sex purely down to the act of genitals meeting and skeeting, then I'm assuming you are speaking of working to prevent unwanted STDs and pregnancies, correct?

Perhaps this is the problem though - relegating an act this intimate down to just a pursuit for release. Condoms, pills, sponges, diaphragm, IUDs, shots and everything else can't protect a man or lady from the potential troublesome aftermath of sleeping with a crazy person...which is why I find the "crazy p*ssy is the best" threads on here so disheartening.

None of these can protect your mind or actual life from the potential shenanigans a one-night stand with the wrong person can open you up to long-term, and this goes for men and ladies alike.

When sex is looked at holistically, it's easy to see how a lot of us are doing it wrong. As a woman, it is easy for me to understand the importance of why I have to be selective with a sex partner. I just don't understand why men don't see it that way as well.

When a man is involved in lovemaking, he literally shoots a part of his lifeforce into or onto another person. It even seems to temporarily weaken some men in some instances and leaves him physically and mentally vulnerable.

So, when a man willingly gives his lifeforce to a woman he would call a ho, thot, or whatever other monikers are used these days, it reflects on him as well; society has just managed to hide the irrationality of these actions when it comes to men.

A woman he might not even deem worthy enough of his love, resources or energy is somehow though worthy of access to his seed (and, in essence, all the time and energy it took his own body to produce it)...why are many men not taught to value and protect their own virility and access to his genetic material? If I had a son, I'd teach him to be stingy as hell with his body and seed, just as I would as a daughter lol.

I digress, though - this isn't a gender issue. Ladies and gentlemen equally ought to be mindful of with whom they are being intimate in those younger years.
