K State lost to unranked Baylor


Oregon lost to #13 ranked Stanford.

I find it a bit peculiar that A&M beat Bama and jumped from 15 into the top 10.

Stanford beat Oregon they only jump 2 spots. I said this last week. Stanford's D is a bunch of damn bullies. They should've jumped Florida and LSU at the very least too

What's the excuse of losing to an unranked team by 1??? We dropped from 3 to 13....they're still in the top 10. All losses should be equal because they're losses. Thought it was more important when you lost.

Good point. I would say "strength of schedule" and the "perception"

In general terms, you cant compare losing to a top 10 team to losing to a team that would be ranked 60th or so.

Quality of opponent should always be considered.

Yup if youre not sec you lost because you suck were overrated and have been exposed

If you're in the sec and lose its because you didnt want it enough, werent hungry, the other team is so good, it was a rivalry, and its always tough to win in that stadium

The problem is the latter is more likely to be an aberration than the former. If Houston lost to KC most would tend to brush it off to "sun shining on a dog's ass" type thing. When they lost to GB, I leaned more towards GB being a better team.
