Seattle is a booming prosperous tech hub.
This is a strange argument to make is the countries largest city that is already home to the businesses you're rallying against.
It's also an absurd argument to make in a thread where you're cheering Amazon coming to NY anyway.
It's the same model businesses and pro sports teams have been using for decades. As long as cities and states continue to subsidize business to provide jobs I see no reason to feign outrage when it's Amazon in a major city vs 3M in a small town.
I'm generally opposed to these types of breaks, but I find it hilarious y'all are celebrating 6 percent of the original proposal as some time of massive win for workers and a smack down for Amazon who got exactly what they wanted elsewhere.
But new yorkers have been over valuing their worth for a while.
