I wasn't being serious. But what needs to be done is to build a base specifically of black supporters to get behind a complete reformation of health care. Elizabeth Warren had decent plans for this during the primary but progressives need to take the south to gain a bigger power share. We build on this and enact policies that help minorities then you have a power bloc ready to force M4A down people's throats. And we might be able to get out the presidential primary next time.

The grassroots are putting in work now but some on the left still have this I want it now or nothing attitude that isn't doing anything for anyone. They're still stuck in this Occupy phase when we actually have power to weld. But it can't be used lightly with the little bit we got.

Hey poor, frustrated, isolated people, hold your horses, Elizabeth Warren has a plan.

Boogaloo Boys are NOT far right white supremacist group, Sam is a liar and has a spot on MSDNC he's sucking mad dikk to keep.
:stopitslime::gucci::camby:

The boogaloo movement, whose adherents are often referred to as boogaloo boys or boogaloo bois,[3] is a loosely organized far-right, anti-government, and extremist political movement in the United States.[4][5][6][7][8][9] The movement has also been described as a militia.[10][11][12] Boogaloo adherents say they are preparing for, or seek to incite, a second American Civil War which they call the boogaloo.[13][14] Boogaloo started out as a firearms board on the imageboard website *****, subsequently organizing via other media such as Facebook.[15][16] Although dating back to 2012, the movement it did not gain widespread attention until late 2019.[1] Adherents use boogaloo, including variations so as to avoid social media crackdowns, to refer to violent uprisings against the federal government or left-wing political opponents, often anticipated to follow government confiscation of firearms.[1][17]

trust boogaloo boys, brehs

I don't gotta trust them any more than I trust corporate democrats.

Seems like the combination of the "pied piper" and deplorable strategy kinda backfired, shall we try something new this time?

The Boogaloo Movement

  • The boogaloo movement is an anti-government extremist movement that formed in 2019. In 2020, boogalooers increasingly engaged in real world activities as well as online activities, showing up at protests and rallies around gun rights, pandemic restrictions and police-related killings.
  • The term “boogaloo” is a slang reference to a future civil war, a concept boogalooers anticipate and even embrace.
  • The ideology of the boogaloo movement is still developing but is primarily anti-government, anti-authority and anti-police in nature.
  • Most boogalooers are not white supremacists, though one can find white supremacists within the movement.
  • The boogalooers’ anti-police beliefs prompted them to participate widely in the Black Lives Matters protests following the killing of George Floyd by Minneapolis police in May 2020.
Before I read that I just assumed Boogaloo was MAGA, they got a hell of a lot of press that painted them as such. Meanwhile actual government officials and cops played matador for the insurrection...who am I supposed to be afraid of here?

These people are going nowhere, are still developing their ideology. I would rather make efforts to peel away those people who the bold apply to and focus their organizing efforts and developing ideology toward my which are anti-government, police and authoritarian in nature.

So let me get this straight, AOC and the squad get cursed out and called traitors for having a tactical disagreement with FTV.

The person leading the FTV campaign is courting a right wing group that doesn’t believe in government in the first place, let alone M4A. y’all can’t be serious.

AOC and Nancy Pelosi are now mortal enemies, but white militia men trying to start a second civil war are allies.

Biggest threat is the elected officials but the MAGAt militias are emboldened by these authoritarian nutjobs. The problem is the only reason why they joined the protests were to cause more violence not make legitimate change. They just want to watch the world burn

This is Nancy Pelosi 30 years ago talking the same shyt AOC is talking now. We don't have time for another cycle of that, people don't give a fukk about waiting another 30 years to see how it shakes out with the new model.

There is civil unrest, people are increasingly losing faith in electoral politics, wealth gap is expanding. If you agree with:

- Universal health care
- Calling out and breaking up corporate media monopolies.
- Being against censorship
- Defunding and de-militarizing police
- Stopping endless, pointless war
- Are against the corporate dictatorship
- For economic freedom
- Would rather have a peaceful revolution to dismantle the duopoly

I have a hell of a lot more in common with you than I do Pelosi. If Biden can befriend and work with people who literally wanted the extermination of black folk for the 'greater good' and make an entire career out of compromising with the big bad racist GOP...Jimmy Dore interviewing some anarchist queer who agrees with all of those things shouldn't be a sacrilege.

Is that unreasonable?

I didn't hear him call for the world to be set ablaze. I heard him pleading with several groups/movements that were involved in civil unrest to remember who the real enemy is before they start killing each other over political theater. The oligarchy has a vested interest in keeping us divided and it only leads to us attacking each other til someone re-directs that flow of energy toward the system.

Now if you think he's being disingenuous, that's another issue. But I don't think you can disagree with much of anything he said in that clip, which is basically a summery of what he said on Jimmy's show.

How are you going to do all of that if all you do is alienate people through name calling and throwing of childish tantrums? I probably agree 98% with progressives, but given the way some of y 'all are acting, I don't even want to be labeled a progressive. That's how much a turn off the dum dum left has become.

It's not just enough to be right on policy. You have to convince atleast half of the population to vote for pols who push your policies. That is not going to get done through name calling, judging, shaming and virtue signaling. All it does is provide you with an emotional release.

You are acting like fundamentalist believers. If you don't agree with us 100%, you are a heretic and you should burn you at the stake. Any one who doesn't see the world through lens is a heathen.

Characterize two relatively powerless citizens talking as being on opposing sides of a civil war brehs. lol

:mjlol:

It’s characterizing Jimmy (as literally jimmy dore) as making excusing for a thinly veiled group of white supremacists that are literally calling for civil war. I don’t think he’s on the opposite side of a civil war from boogaloo boys when he defends them.

People without healthcare don't care about your personal grudges homie, you got good insurance.

BJG's accomplishments in the realm of politics > Sam's.
Thing is he isn't against medicare for all. He's against this strategy because the person pushing it is a notorious grifter and is bashing the main members of congress that can help achieve it .

Pretty obvious to see what's going on here

He also reeled off his concerns about the strategy.

- could reduced progressive power in the House

- while it would create more coverage for M4A the press would not be favorable to the progressive version of events.

- if another dem did manage to get enough votes from this gambit to unseat her, they’d inevitably more conservative rather than less.

- it risks setting M4A progress back rather than forward. Aka The “we voted on this already and it barely got 100 votes” scenario.

And look, people are within their right to say “nah I don’t agree with any of that” and move it along. But acting like anyone who disagrees tactically is standing in the way of M4A is clown shyt. Sam said clearly he didn’t dislike the concept though he wasn’t sure about the ask; but when the clown behavior started is when he had to distance himself.

That clown behavior came from Jimmy and poisoned the well on an otherwise strategic debate. That’s why Jimmy’s name has to be tied to this. Because he turned this into a virtue signal’ing exercise with aims to alienate potential allies. Now his supporters are carrying water for the damned boogaloo boys as if THOSE are the real potential allies:snoop:
