Whole argument is a house of cards built on the faulty assumption that the vast majority of people in this country (90% of Democrats and 50% of Republicans) would be down to ride for M4A because of that one half-baked poll whose numbers drastically fall when looking at the actual implications of M4A. Ain't no one rioting against their local Dem rep who doesn't vote for M4A right now. And even if they would, why would it take a floor vote, why not just ask them to co-sponsor or pledge to support M4A or you'll vote for their primary opponent? We just had the sentient manifestation of M4A run in the Democratic primary and get his clock cleaned by the man who publicly said he'd veto M4A even if it passed Congress. Yet these people completely ignore that result because it doesn't fit their desired outcome, so they hold onto that 1 poll like it's the holy grail. I honestly think a lot of this is just psychological inability to come to terms with the results of the 2020 Democratic primary, so a lot of them see this as a re-do.
