(I know this wasn’t originally an HBO Show, but) this right here is the quality that is associated with the brand.

This is why no other premium channel can be compared to HBO.

I can’t even rewatch that shyt; every scene is seared in my memory.

Great season, with Pierpoint gone, is this the last time we see Eric?

Love that Yas finally got tired of seeing herself as a victim and accepted the person she was always meant to be. :wow:
Yep.

And I loved that she told them that they should be practical.

They both know that they aren’t in love with each other, but they understand the importance of legacy and uniting through marriage.

What sealed it for me was when she saw her dad in the class photo. As horrible as her dad was— he placed her in the right circles. She is where she belongs.

oh yeah that was Greg, he was a hilarious character. Read an interview with one of the show runners and he said there was a line cut from E7 that said something like

Yas: can you stop this whole man of the people bit for a minute?

Greg: Man of the people? This is just who I am. You'e never seen me outside of Pier Point!

they though it was too on the nose.

Do yall think she really loves Rob or that was her “making people feel like I love them” like she said not be flashback?

The way it was written and acted....she did love him. She had tears in her eyes. That sex scene. Cum inside me. Tell me you love me. The way she touched her heart to say goodbye. She basically condensed all the best parts of them into an afternoon together. He got it. She just had to make the more sensible choice.

actually struck a nerve. On the re watch, skipped that whole garden sequence. Remembered some text I got "I only want you, but I have to think about my future", and it wasn't even someone with more money, it was just someone who wanted to marry her, in that instance.

Not to shyt on Yas, but what was it that Henry's uncle saw in her? Was it strictly cause he knew he could get her to do it since she was desperate (with the bad press) and already familiar with their world? Like, the idea of her adding value to Henry and their family, to me is off. Unless it's just that he knows Henry isn't shyt and no TRULY proper woman would put up with his shyt.

why would it be the last we see Eric? He doesn’t work for Pierpoint anymore and he is from New York.
