You know what…

I’ve never seen a show wrap up 3 seasons in such a complete, gratifying way.

If this were the end, this would literally be a perfect series.

I don’t know what they’re going to do next season.

They might start with a new cast :ohhh:

Anyway, as much as I love this show, I can love and appreciate it for what it is and be satisfied with this being the end.

Kinda lit a fire under my ass, too. Gotta go and get what you want, and get it early enough to still enjoy it before the ride is over.
Intriguing and scary at the same time.

So Harper's next move is to start a reddit shorts company:pachaha:a couple of months of being normal fukking human being really decent her out:mjlol:

GMB running up the scoreboard. I used to hate Rob but he's the only normal person on the show.

Rishi:huhldup:

Again, Yaz did nothing wrong this episode :hubie:

This would've been a good series finale.

He might as well take that same gun and just commit that. What’s the point anymore?

Besides the show showcasing the consequences of Rishi’s lifestyle to the audience, I don’t really understand Vinay’s play in offing his wife like that.
You know what?

It literally made me think of Penguin last week! Did you watch? I think it’s the same exact situation—

He simply killed the wife because she was annoying the fukk out of him. It was an impulsive move.
He was probably going to hurt Rishi or something again, but I don’t think he went there planning to kill the wife.

Her ass was too green. Not victim blaming but, you have a literal criminal sitting in your kitchen; why the fukk would you be yelling at him ?! :hubie:

She should’ve left Rishi the minute she found out about the gambling issue.
Should’ve married her family friend who was trimming her hedges Smdh

I don't think it was a play, just a consequence. They're never going to get the money from him, he's in too too deep. And with him losing his job they can't siphon funds anymore either. At that point the only way to proceed is to cut losses which means....yea. And then it becomes the story you allude to when discussing consequences to the next guy who starts getting into debt. I'd imagine Rishi heard something like that years ago when it all started.

Ironically if he had stayed at Pierpoint I'd imagine he would have gotten a severance package.

Nah.

She didn’t have to play with Rob’s emotions.

They always wanted each other and her ass couldn’t leave the urge alone- fine.

But all that “I love you, do you love me” blah blah

That was unnecessary. Rob actually wanted her, but she knew she needed to marry rich.

Aside from that, I’m glad she stated her terms and gets to marry the rich guy.

And Henry’s uncle seems like he will be a healthy paternal figure for her.

She was always going to be ok in the end as long as she was honest with herself and what she wanted- to be the wealthy wife.

Spectacular.

The show could've ended on about 4 different scenes and I would've been satisfied. It was almost too much. I loved it.

pretty sure thats one of the show runners who was Yas assistant or whatever
One of the show's creators is black? :ohhh:

It's also nice how the best show on TV's main character is a black woman, and I can watch it without the Internet outrage grifters crying about "the wokity woke makes me big mad"

I think black and gay. One of them is. Think you can kinda see that in the shows depiction in a lot of things.

Pretty sure that's him but can't really tell.

Harper getting the nod was another thing we kind of predicted. Curious where that goes. Speaking of which, I'm not sure what S4 will look like now that so many characters are separated. Yas and Henry (if Jon Snow comes back lol). Rob, possibly in California unless he gets dragged back into the fold (wealth management). Harper separating from Petra/Sweet Pea/etc. I wonder what, if anything, will bring them together again.
The show is going to the US, specifically NYC.

I think Petra/Sweet Pea, etc are done.

Its nothing for Yas and Henry to spend months cheating on each other in the Upper East Side. Rob needs more seed money, so he will be in NYC. Harper will be there and Eric is literally from NYC.

The only one I am unsure about is Rishi.

I disagree on the uncle. In this ep he had a couple comments about the estate, the house, inheritance, etc. The family name must live on, basically. He recognizes his nephew could destroy everything that he, his father, grandfather etc have built and thinks the only way to stop that destructive (masculine) behavior is by introducing a woman to stifle it. And produce an heir, basically. My issue was that sure he seems nice but this is happening because he's withholding damaging news about Yasmin in exchange for her Doing The Right Thing and giving him what he wants. If she refused, he'd let the newspaper rip her apart. She was essentially trapped and slowly accepted it.

Yas will be set for life financially, which is partially what the entire season was about for her; he can't live a normal life, she'd rather die. But she can only distract herself with wedding plans and running a household for so long before Henry's nature shows itself. She finds herself in familiar territory: ignoring a man's behavior in order to extend a relationship. It's the same trap her mother was in, and the same trap the publisher was in. But her bars are gold plated and her cage is well decorated. At some point she's gonna snap and blow everything up though. I just wonder if she'll get pregnant before that happens.
