Saw that Yas and Rob gut punch coming, I would have told her the same thing. Shoot me a million when you can. (edit, called this before that scene too)

see the marriage thing on the back end of the sex and the passion is all that planning and scheduling, and without the money.....it's not that fun.

I’m still not over what happened to Rishi’s wife. That’s wild, but also entirely on point to impact a character who was essentially living that Uncut Gems life, fukking around, and finding out like Howard Ratner.
Darkest thing I’ve seen on HBO in a while though. That HOTD stuff is fantasy, this shyt is real life.

This almost feels like a series finale.
It goes without saying, Rishi is a fukkup/moron/degenerate. Got his wife killed because of his foolishness and now he has absolutely no way to make the money back.

Harper seems to be on her way to becoming Nicole (sans the rapey part). She's going to either retire very, very wealthy or go down in flames. Her conversation with the older dude reminded me of the situation with Robert F. Smith and Robert Brockman. How he got his start. It's not completely the same but, it's similar. Harper doesn't have many options to get where she wants to go but, she's willing to break any rules in the process and her investor is willing to exploit that. That new leaf she turned with Petra lasted all of five minutes lol. Next time she won't have to worry about her and she'll make a $1B trade or more. Or she'll go to prison.
I knew Yas wasn't going to choose Rob. I don't know if she loves him. I don't know if she loves the other guy either. But, one represented a new start without her father's influence while the other represented her being legitimized again after her father soiled her reputation. This isn't a rom-com. She's not gonna follow some guy around the world to California and give up everything she's used to. She may hate her dad but, she was used to the protection his money and power gave her. When ole girl said "what family bish?" I was kinda dying because it was true. Then Henry's uncle letting her know she would immediately be accepted into the family made the decision for her. Tough break Rob but, it wouldn't have worked anyway

What a fukking finale. I thought the first two seasons were really great but kind of viewed it as a personal favorite moreso than something I could recommend to other people (niche setting, too confusing for casual viewers, etc). But after this season? Yea, I'm confident in saying this is top tier television and arguably the best active show right now.
The Rob/Yas saga in this episode was really the heart of it, and perhaps the sum of the season. What told the tale for me? That shot of her glancing between Rob scratching off a lottery ticket and a miserable mother in an old car with unruly children. For a moment in the previous couple episodes it seemed like she was willing to give Rob a shot, perhaps give love a shot too. He helped her finally escape the stress of the job, paparazzi, lifestyle, etc and at the end of the day she touched normalcy for the first time and said nah that's not me. She was always gonna end up with Henry, it was her only way out of this mess. She'll be unhappy with Henry, she will be cheated on regularly...but she will have a big gold plated cage to reside in. Better than a shabby car with your kids yelling too loud....
Not gonna lie, I thought Eric would survive the chopping block. I figured just as they'd shytcan the gay guy, they'd shytcan the ESG chick thus elevating Eric by default. I don't think the money is gonna satisfy him. Sounded like he was scouting out roles again. The show can go a lot of different ways in S4 but man...I hope this wasn't the end for him.
The ironic thing about Pierpoint's fate is that Rob would be the perfect guy for wealth management but he's moved on.

Honestly, I don't think she was playing with him. That was real. She was doing that, so she could have that, and than make the move she needed to make. it's selfish in a sense but yeah she could have the romance AND the business. She needed to know. She needed to hear that I love you like that. Because her and Henry will never be like that.
