Eh, I see both sides. Yas' father is in the news for doing terrible things to women, breaking a bunch of NDAs to put the blame on the father and the company would also expose a lot of shyt about women that were in bad situations that want to hide it.
If something like this happened in real life I could definitely see some of the women talking about how it brought back a bunch of bad memories, how they had to explain to their kids what happened, and how they were getting treated differently by friends and family.
That’s my problem with this. All that goes out the window when there is evidence the publishing company was helping the dad do all that shyt willingly.
As Yas' lawyer she shouldnt give a fukk about what would happen to the women. She should be concerned with proving her client's innocence and their best interest. The way the lawyer framed everything puts the guilt on Yas instead of on Hanani Publishing. Like dude told Yas on the phone, this is all a long play from the publishing company.
I could understand if Yas was helping the dad launder/embezzle and shyt like that and knew about the women, but she didnt. Besides like the dude said, it's an open secret anyway and only a matter of time before it gets leaked. So those women gonna be going thru that regardless.
They want to tug on Yasmin’s heartstrings/morality when Hanani Publishing should’ve done the right thing from jump and separated themselves from her father.
I feel for those women, but Yas shouldn’t have to ruin her individual name because of her dad, or because the company cleaned up her dad’s mess.
I would NOT take that deal. She better release that shyt and let the company deal with the fallout
