Someone explain to me why Eric fukked over Adler
I’m assuming, he reached out to whoever that mysterious dude on the desk (Ali?) was to figure out why Adler really sent him there and found out that the lady who said Adler thinks Eric is a useful idiot was right. Adler was just using Eric in the room to stake his claim which was basically tied to his own financial gain.

That’s the genius of this show; the characters criticize each other, but they literally have the same moral compass (or lack thereof) and think of themselves.
It’s ok for Yasmin to preserve herself and say “it’s them or me”, but Harper was a raging narcissist when she essentially said “It’s Pierpoint or Leviathan (me)”.
Harper is a monster for wanting to short Pierpoint, but Eric isn’t a monster for lying and turning on Adler???!
Deep down this is why I always fukked with Harper. She IS the underdog, but she knows the game. She overplays her hand at times, but the real problem they have with her is that she doesn’t know her place.
She isn’t supposed to know how to navigate that world.
She isn’t supposed to make cutthroat decisions.
The issue with Harper is that she beats everyone to the punch.
Eric is the literal monster. He’ll tell you you’re a piece of shyt and people are stupid for trusting you, and then stab his buddy/colleague/boss in the back if it means saving himself and moving up in the firm.

Rishi on the hunt for a new job and doing what he can to save himself, as the gambling debts seem to have gotten worse
Yasmin willing to throw victims into the spotlight, if that means it moves away from her
The UK paparazzi is infamous though.
Harper's illegal shenanigans might be catching up to her again
Rob looking for a way out of the madness, by switching to the healing power of psychedelics and a possible trip to the US

Yasmin is acting on information she gathered illegally, just like Harper. The reason isn’t important; she could’ve turned it down and found another way.
The show has never been about good and evil. it's not a moral show. It's about the currents they (and we) all swim in.
