Maybe her lease was about to expire or she was looking for something cheaper/betterWhy was the black chick looking for an apartment? I thought she had a spot across from the Indian dude?

Other than the fact that they insist on meeting some sort of fakkitry quota each episode, I like the show so far. It ain't Succession but it'll do.
I watched the episode twice and it definitely looks like a heart attack. He was invested in getting that job to an almost psychotic level. He definitely had self esteem issues and probably had a ton of pressure from home (not sure what country he's from) to succeed. Add in severe lack of sleep, I could see it. Sad thing is, the meeting ended up being pushed back so he would've had time to fix the one page.
Btw, dude committed that, right? Because in the previews it sounds like people are saying he just dropped dead.

pretty sure he just dropped dead. He was overwhelmed, drugged up and sleep deprived.
cool first episode, I’ll see this one out to the end. HBO needs to let go of this obsession of putting d!cks on my screen, tho.
Bout to throw on episode 2

Either way its just an excuse for the writers to get them both in the same house
I'm gonna blame lena dunham since she directed the pilot episode. she's the queen of gratuitous nudity.
So the writers forgot about that by the second episode?in the first episode, they said that the investment bank was providing housing for those interns who are competing for the job.
It doesn't make the distinction that she NEEDS to move out. Again, the audience shouldn't have to think this out ourselves but she likely feels lonely and haunted while staying at the dorms what with her friend being overworked to death. So the writers forgot about that by the second episode?
