i agree. i also dont think black people are the reason trump is president because the rhetoric on here is typically not found amongst black people (yall are either the minority/not black)... what?
There are more political options than just voting...
And voters don't have much impact on national policies, we don't control lobbyists, campaign donators and etc
Voting is a formality...
It doesn't matter when you got politicians running billion dollar campaigns and both sides are funded by the same people and both parties are rightwing lol
but according to your post, most people are hopeless even outside of voting so whats the point of anything and why dont poor people just revolt instead of accepting whats handed all the time? at that point, seems more like laziness and grandstanding and not as noble of a cause as youre making it out to be if youre not fighting in some kind of way on your word
i definitely get allllll the reasons for not voting, but my only major concern is the way black children who cant afford private education will be affected here. republicans have definitely shown they dont value public education/services, while dems havent (sorry, but frankly i cant be more concerned about a dude in syria and a banker getting their bag over a black child next door or a black grandma who needs medicaid, black guy in jail for marijuana). im willing to play the long game to keep them in the running bc those are things that have long term implication on financial abilities, rather than hoping everything will crash with my people being at the bottom first if i can convince people not to vote lol
even if everything 'reset', the reason the reset would be needed will not (racism). worst position with the same root problem is all..
