Yeah, and also Schultz didn't let him go outright to rescue Broomhilda after the Brittle brothers were killed. He said, "I can't in good conscience let you go to Mississippi by yourself."

Now, he was of course looking out for Django, but it wasn't until Schultz was actually killed that Django truly came into his own. He even had more lines than any previous scene in the movie. When he was being shipped off to the coal mine and stopped to tell the Aussies he was a bounty hunter I think Django spoke more in that scene than maybe the entire movie.

Before that it was mostly him acting with his eyes, shooting people mean looks, asking questions, or giving one liners.

Again, spaghetti western trope
Main character always says little, its all eyes, scowls and gun talk

Saw last night. Had to sit in the first row :to:

Overall I was a little disappointed that it had such a light tone to it. At certain points it almost feels like a comedy or a parody. That was a let down, I was looking for it to have a more raw feeling. Then again I can see why QT would make that choice.

Def not a bad movie, I would def watch it again, especially certain scenes. Sam Jackson was comic gold. I'm looking forward to the DVD rip so I can watch it again.

I'm not one to nitpick a movie. This joint was a great watch to me. I was entertained and it seemed like the entire theater was as well. I'll definitely watch this again when the DVD drops.

Finally, read this whole thread. I still don't see much criticism about the pacing of this film. First Act was fine. Action, comedy nice pace. But then they got to Leo's place and that's where it got uneven. Loved the QT dialogue and the way film slowed down. But the multipe "endings" hurt the film. That could have been edited way better. I'm not saying it's not a good film. But to say it's one of the greatest QT but it felt like it wouldn't end? No.

there were no "multiple endings" whut u think this is return of the king? :mindblown:

there was just one ending. just one. django returning and rescuing his woman. BY HIMSELF, NO ASSISTANCE.

whut 2nd, or 3rd ending was YOU seeing?

Did Spike ever say anything about Blind Side?

Do you mind explain to me why Blind Side offended you?

The same reason it offended the real Michael Oher. It made him look like an idiot that didnt know anything including playing football till this white family taught him. Like an ape that they trained to act human or some sh!t.

SMFH....I feel you so I just researched myself and found this.

The movie also didn't mention Oher had to take online courses at BYU to graduate high school with a high enough GPA to go to college.

On the other end, the movie didn't mention that Oher's IQ jumped 20-30 points in college and he did in fact graduate Ole Miss, making the honor roll twice. I think that's a bigger accomplishment than playing football in many ways.

:pacspit: whoever made that movie.

I just seen the movie and it was just :ohlawd::whoo::ooh::blessed:

Ain't gotta go into detail because the.movie was perfect. Songs played at the right time. The use of the word nikka went smoothly. Sam jack sounded like he was in new York standing on the corner with all them nikkas he said lol
