Not really

I say I have lost some respect for certain people but honestly, most of it is from a lack of understanding. People were force fed this election shyt for most of the year. They were more comfortable with Trump than Kamala for whatever reason just based off of superficial circumstances, not that they were actually keeping up with the wars, politics, campaigns and etc.

So I will probably come to distance myself from anyone who openly voted for dude. Not because of who you voted for, more like I can’t trust your judgment or opinion on most things these days.

Like, I had to shyt this one chick up who is a Candace Owens stan (didn’t even know that) and she talked about not liking Kamala for the dumbest of shyt… like working in McDonalds. Or that she wasn’t “likeable” or her misjudged record as a DA (which was a theme. Even I thought that until I read up on her DA career. I mean… she was a fukking DA :manny: , but she wasn’t singling out black/brown men which was a concern of mines at first).

I told her the uneducated line too… thats when she went radio silent :mjlol:

She gonna see it affect her soon enough tho. Silver lining is that hopefully my taxes come down since everything else will be going up
I have cut people off just for being dumb. Like you can say you're voting for Trump but once I ask why and you give me the dishonest talking points that's where the issue arises. But the people I had the most smoke for were the contrarian non voters. They're just loud and wrong for attention purposes. But the results are the results. The craziest part is like you said I stand to benefit greatly from the cuts. So I'm just watching and observing how it all shakes out now

Nah cuz everyone I know is anti trump like me

But I lost some “friends” cuz I’m pro vaccine:pachaha: every single person I’ve ever met who were anti Covid vax are some of the dumbest people on the planet
I did lose some folks during the Vax issue. There was this chick that stopped talking to me due to me being vaxxed and me not knowing what it does to my body. She said all that while finishing up some McDonald's and smoking a vape pen...lol

None of my immediate family support Trump so I'm good on that. I have a couple distant relatives who are Trumpists but I haven't spoken to them in years.

As for friends, I have a few who are in the Nation of Islam that didn't vote because Farrakhan instructed not to vote this election but some of them displayed sympathy for Trump or thought he was "better for the economy".

I had a Middle Eastern female friend of mine who have never been clear of her stance in politics other than she got more money when Trump was president and that's she's pro-choice but she cut me off and called me "divisive" when I posted on Instagram that I don't fukk with Trump supporters the day after the election.

I had another close female Latina friend who voted for Trump in 2016 and I tried my best to ignore her politics and be friends with her but we haven't been close for a year before the election and I think it may be permanent afterwards

Everyone else (friends and family) either agrees with me politically as Democrats or silent on politics

Trump supporters are cult members, they repeat the same talking points word for word even in a normal conversations. Can’t be around miserable mindless people who can’t form their own unique opinions.
facts. theyre either evil or stupid. no inner dialogue or reasoning. literal sheep.
No, because dropping friends and family over which side they choose in a Presidential election seems asinine and unhinged to me. You voted Republican, so be it. If you were in my sphere before the election, you are still in my sphere after it.
if this was Dole vs Clinton or Obama vs Romney or McCain, i would agree. but trump supporters told you they dont care about any of Trumps bullshyt. they are lost. dont need people like that around me. i realize there are over 70 million people like that. :manny:

Where do you draw the line? If the David Duke were to become the nominee and some one you know was in support of that you would still rock with them?

At what point do a person's values come into question? Not an attack on you, but curious to know what your limit would be.

I don't worry about hypotheticals on this subject, I deal with realities. So you using an extreme example to try to prove your point only proves to me that your position is unable to be supported with examples in reality.

Also, a person who supported David Dukes would probably never been a Black person's friend. You guys do not really think your points out before you make them.

Hypothetically if they voted for a guy who had a comedian on who said he was carving watermelons for Halloween and had a private dinner with a white supremacist what would you do?

I can’t imagine doing something so petty like that. Bush your fam over politics brehs. :dead:

politics is method we use engage how best to organize society. some peoples politics have lead them to support the most right-wing candidate and administration in modern U.S history. anyone who is ok with trump, his policies, his whole camp, his white supremacist and christo fascist supporters is unequivocally revealing their character or lack their of. it's the type of co-sign that speaks volumes about a person and at some point folks will have had enough and choose to invest in more meaningful relationships with people they don't abhor.

you think women should be cool with men in their families who want them to have fewer rights?
