Nah but I know mad people that have and it's crazy to me because we all knew they were Trump supporters before the election and folks were fine to look past it but now they want to act childish as hell just because the election didn't go how they wanted it to.. shyt lame as hell to me :manny:

It's not that anymore. You got dudes who exalt Malcolm X and Khalid Muhammad and still voted for Trump. You'd Be right and assume there would be no Haitian men, for an example, that wouldn't vote for Donald Trump but spend a few minutes on Instagram and you will see how that is clearly not the case. Only to see that these are real accounts with real people in them. I was actually surprised how many black people I knew who either claimed they were going to vote for Trump or at least sympathetic towards him in antagonistic towards the Democrats. I wish it was a case of simply whitewashed kneegrows who were going to vote for Trump, but this elections cycle showed me that isn't the case.

The Truth
Not really

I say I have lost some respect for certain people but honestly, most of it is from a lack of understanding. People were force fed this election shyt for most of the year. They were more comfortable with Trump than Kamala for whatever reason just based off of superficial circumstances, not that they were actually keeping up with the wars, politics, campaigns and etc.

So I will probably come to distance myself from anyone who openly voted for dude. Not because of who you voted for, more like I can’t trust your judgment or opinion on most things these days.

Like, I had to shyt this one chick up who is a Candace Owens stan (didn’t even know that) and she talked about not liking Kamala for the dumbest of shyt… like working in McDonalds. Or that she wasn’t “likeable” or her misjudged record as a DA (which was a theme. Even I thought that until I read up on her DA career. I mean… she was a fukking DA :manny: , but she wasn’t singling out black/brown men which was a concern of mines at first).

I told her the uneducated line too… thats when she went radio silent :mjlol:

She gonna see it affect her soon enough tho. Silver lining is that hopefully my taxes come down since everything else will be going up

Nah my immediate family is Democratically aligned. My extended i don't fukk with so I don't care :mjlol:

I will say I have an Uncle who is practically a life long republican (he's rich). He knew Trump is a conman so he voted Clinton, Biden, and Harris. Anyone with sense voted against that demon.

I got a cousin who married rich. Husband was juelzing about "oh we don't like trump....but we like some of the things he did :ld: (tax cuts for rich)". I dont trust that fukk, he probably voted for him :mjpls:

The rest of them realistically do not vote and don't care to vote. They live in NY where they have a lot of benefits. They don't get affected by a lot of this shyt

Nah breh...you have to explain.
That's insensitive of me.

Would you mind explaining to us?
i deleted that post. I was attempting to make a point by sarcastically taking the thread title literal.
i don't think anyone has lost a loved one because of an election. They simply lost loved ones because they are too petty to accept differences of opinions.

I did. My auto detailer, undocumented guy from Honduras told me that he and his family supported trump. I straight up told him that no longer needed his services. Gonna miss those $30 car details, inside and and out. But, fukk it, he about to be deported anyway.

I'm glad this thread was made

I had the misfortune of talking politics with a co worker, a african woman

She told me she loves trump and she's happy he won. Her reasons were, he's got no filter and he's anti LGBTQ

Now for the most shocking part, I then proceeded to challenge her by bringing up trump's housing discrimination in the 80's and the central park 5, to which she promptly dismissed with " that was in the past and no ones perfect":mjtf:

When I brought up his sexual assault conviction against Carroll and the fact that 28 women have come forward to accuse him of rape, she again dismissed them as political hatchet job and false allegations, wth this point I was to :scust:to even carry on the conversation.

She noticed the jokes and smiling has stopped since the conversation. A black woman defending rape and racism is beyond the pale:francis:

Nah, as bad as Trump elected is I'm not cutting off some of the family like that. The Trumpers I knew at work I already knew and wasn't really associating with them anyway. I'm just gonna sit back and observe these next 4 years and watch the show.
