Apparently, Google almost never let you redeem it after getting this message, even if it's legit and you provide what they want

- Go to the chat section on Netflix: https://help.netflix.com/en/interface/chat
- Chat with an agent about your issue. Simply say that it wont let you further because Netflix reports the error "Something went wrong, try again later" when typing in your phone number.
- Ask them to send a payment form in the chat. There you can type in your card credentials WITHOUT it asking for a phone number.
- After that has been entered, you are good to go!

"I got to the phone number vertification step, then opened netflix through web on my phone and they did not ask for that step there. Maybe I just got lucky, not sure."

Yeah they don't. One time I bought a google play from amazon and got that message, thankfully I got a refund.
Learned my lesson to never buy a google play gift card again

it works for a multitude of countries, but argentina and turkey have always been the cheapest option.
even though my spotify is only 4 a month i wont renew when my gift card expires. Youtube music has everything I need

As of November 1, YouTube Premium is seeing an international price increase in Argentina, Australia, Austria, Chile, Germany, Poland, and Turkey. This applies to individual, family, and student plans for YouTube Premium and YouTube Music Premium.
