You make sure to set your vpn back to your country? If my vpn is set to the UK, then I'm going to be seeing the UK version of sites.

Oh wait. I think there's a feature within Google where you have to set it to your country. I'm wondering if that automatically set to the VPN country and just stayed there. I think mine did that but I caught it immediately and fixed it.

Oh and another piece of advice I want to give to brehs is, do NOT put your real credit card number on the site. I know that some folks might be using @MikelArteta workaround with the gift cards, but if you're using your actual credit or debit card, you should really use a proxy credit card number.
I use privacy.com. It's free. I don't like a bunch of sites having my real credit or debit card number anymore. I just create a bunch of proxy numbers on privacy.com and use those. That protects you if a site gets hacked and credit card numbers are released on the dark web, because with privacy.com, you can just cancel that card number out and create another one in a matter of seconds.

Okay, a couple of things:
So I didn't set up any new gmail accounts. I used my current google workspace account, and I also used an old google account.
Initially I set it up on my google workspace account, but the drawback there is that you can't put a family account on a workspace account. You can only put the individual account on the workspace account.
So I put the family account on another gmail account. So I'm currently paying for 2 accounts because I use my google workspace youtube account for all of my news, politics, and programming stuff. I use my other gmail account for all of my music. Plus I don't mind paying for 2 accounts because I can always sell the leftover slots on my family account and make money based on that.
So long story short: You don't have to create a brand new account (especially not one based in Turkey).
