It’s a 2-month trial and then R$20.90/month now. That’s 20 cents a month…

edit: actually for some reason when I VPN to Argentina, YouTube loads the Brazil page…

crazy shyt is I'm building a pi-hole this weekend.

grabbed a Pi from MicroCenter because I'm tired of ads and bullshyt on my TV since you can't just use a browser ad blocker. I'm looking forward to working on this

I was using adblockers on my macbook and could air play it thru apple tv, which blocks the ad. but having the ads blocked in the actual YT app is a game changer as u just said. but I wasn't trying to pay a full $12 a month, cuz thats ridiculous. at just over $1 a month, that's a no-brainer.

plus with premium, u can now use PIP with YT as well

as far as my phone, I was using YT thru the safari browser cuz the ads can be blocked on safari. however, that's really cumbersome IMO. the YT app is much better.

For others considering this: consider getting the NewPipe app for free instead. Customizable YouTube player that's ad free and more private. Only can't log in to an account and post comments. But it's a way better experience. Can escape the filter bubble by turning off the bs recommendations.

I don't see this app in the app store. So I assume it's not available for Apple TV either.
