Str8 outta hs I gotta job welding and was making really good money. I put my education on hold making good money at 17. Eventually the place I was at went under and do to doing it so long I realized its not something I wanted to do the rest of my life..

When investing that type of money into something its good to do so at a more mature age than 17/18

i went back at 21. i spent 18-21 just working, typical warehouse shyt, not really sure of what i wanted to do after high school. One day, I was at work & was looking at my homie who was 27, dropped out of uni, ran through a trustfund his grandparents gave him (over 100k) & was just cool about bumming it up. i looked at dude real hard & had an epiphany. I got up, walked out the store, never came back & applied to go to a school down south. was down Tennessee 2 months later.



sometimes i still feel like a failure. because eventhough my life has did a complete 180.....at 24, most of the cats i went to high school with on they masters, law school, nice cribs & all that. i wish i had my mind right back in 06/07.

I went to art school straight out of HS in Denver, CO. I realized I didn't like the idea of making no money, so I left back to Bmore and got a job as a mail man (at age 19).

I was making DOUGH!!! Went and got me a BMW and all that. Everyweekend was CRAZY!!!!!!!

I thought I was balling, until I left the rural side, and started working in Ellicott City, MD.

Seems like EVERY house had a Jag, Porche, AMG Benz, ///M BMW, Aston, Lambo, Ferrari, etc.

Those houses where HUGE, too.

One day, I saw a brother (rare in Ellicott City) out washing his new Jag

him: That's what graduating college can get you.

We sat there and chatted about what he did to make it through.

I worked there till I was 22, saved my cash and jumped in school.

If you don't have a business oriented mind, then college is worth it.​

Stopped school when I was 16 took my GED when I was 18 worked till I was 20 then my dad told me to enroll and I was

Ideally you should get into college at like 19/20 imo. You gotta have a game plan of what you are trying to do when you go in to really benefit from it.



Most 17/18 olds are just going there to drink smoke weed and fukk bytches. Which aint wrong at all .




But you should still go to college with a set plan.

meanwhile, i got friends doin bigger things and gettin paid.

i think about it alot but really i gotta focus on me and i have been. just gotta keep it that way.

if you want to succeed bad enough, you will. i have no doubt about that.

its not a sprint. its a marathon. what my dad told me last week.

I graduated high school with a sub 2.0 gpa

I already know what type time i would've been on if some college accepted my dumb ass

I started late too. Went into the military then started school a class here and there at 23....finally finished 6 yrs later. It's a grind man, keep ya head up. The payoff is well worth it in the end regardless of the age you get that piece of paper.
