Food looks lit
Lived in Alexandria for a summer semester studying Arabic back in 2010. Campus was at Alexandria University near the Library (Bibliotheca Alexandrina).
Went to many events, live concerts, with Egyptian counterparts and my American crew. It was also the World Cup in South Africa at that time too so that was dope to be there and watching the games every evening in primetime.
Dorms were near the Smouha neighborhood. Hung out in Sporting neighborhood a lot. Favorite spot to study and have nice Wi-Fi was Clay Cafe.
I lost 15 pounds during that time. I ate good though maybe it was being away from our food here in the USA for awhile. I did play soccer every week and there was a stadium nearby campus where I would workout at.
Aside from Alex, I went to Cairo about 3 times. My program had a week long trip to Sinai which involved climbing Mount Sinai, going to the small resort of Dahab, and then going to Sharm Al-Sheikh (with all the Eurotrash there).
My second to last week, I went to Siwa Oasis in the Sahara near the Libyan border. Highly recommend it.
Mainland Aswan was mostly still Arabic Egyptians but there are Nubian Islands along the Nile that are mostly Nubian Africans from SudanWhat was Aswan like more Nubians right?
They don’t care when it’s tourists. I have a visible ankh and Eye of Ra tattoo and I got a lot of compliments from localsHow they treat/feel about tattoos? For instance you have a visible ankh
Search Mahmoud Cairo on FB. If you can't find him there I can get you in touch.
I never exchange money at the airport, I just withdraw money from the ATM and get Egyptian pounds that way. I'm sure there's an exchange there
Yes can get sims at the airport

Egypt Trip Tours-Day Tours (Giza) - All You Need to Know BEFORE You Go
he can do a tour anywhere in Egypt so don't just pay attention the to official ones they offer. Besides the camels at the Giza pyramids we love doing the atvs as well
I’m gonna use that tour link bro. Props.. you suggest 4 or 5 nights? Think I’m gonna stay at the pyramid inn. Do a Nile river cruise with the belly dancers, rock with the camels and do the arc’s. Any other suggestions or places to hit up? Definitely looking for some good food which I read by kempinski Nile hotel. Starting to plan this now.
The first pyramid is the step pyramid, worth a visit
The red pyramid in Dahshur, (greater Cairo ) you go 200 feet down into it
Snorkeling in the red sea, 2 hour day trip from Cairo. The water is nice
You can do a felucca ride on the Nile too, traditional sailboat
I like Cairo tower , it has great panoramic views of Cairo
And the mosque of Mohammed Ali . Also has great views and cool to see
Probably 5 nights, 4 days for this itinerary
How you booked the hotel rooms? Straight thru there website? Seemed like the pyramid inn’s website don’t allow you to book straight through them. Thinking of 3 nights there and 2 in the Nile hotel.
