No he didnt...
But i agree with you. As long as your not a bum trying to be a rapper. Like have a life and have a job, and do it because you love it...not because you trying to make it

Look if you don't got a family to support then why does it matter? I mean if you 38 with a wife and kids still trying to make it and dont got no job then that's a problem, but if you got steady income and wanna do it on the side then whats the problem. I work with middle aged 40-50 year old white guys who play in bands on the weekends why do you give them a pass and shyt on a nikka 38 doing shows on the weekend??
I doubt those 50 year old white guys still have plans of being rockstars They probably have good, fulfilling jobs and do their hobbies in their free time. Nikkas be 30 years old and still be dead serious that they're gonna blow. People on that wave are shortchanging their own potential because instead of putting their energy toward something tangible, they're chasing fantasies.

I think its sad when you're over 25 and still talking about rapping. Because 90% of those cats don't even have a secure plan for the future. No trade. No college. No army. Not even a cdl. You can get them b*tches for nothin I mean dog....Rick Ross and 2 Chains made it late but, what happens if you don't? You wasted away your entire 20s not building toward anything real and now you're 30 something without anything to show for it. Its sad. And I know multiple nikkas on this path.
I know 2 dudes breh, he's my homeboy cousin. Rap with Midi East out of DC. Dude is cool and all, but he just aint gon make it. I feel sorry for the dude. Studio beating him across the head for studio time. I met him about 6 years ago and he was going hardcore. We went to a couple of his shows way back. The way the crowd was looking at him like he was retarded, I felt sorry for him. Dude damn near 40 now, never had close to a hit. Never says anything memorable or gangsta. He's cool tho, so no one tells him to get it up. What super nice guy rapper that has made it in rap, but isn't super nice on the mic?
The other is my homeboy from Va. He's a player like, but he be rapper on some soft Lupe, Q-tip super possitive vibe, but w/o the skills. I make beats, but gritty south beat, so we don't click. He be wanting me to go to his shows I can't follow someone I don't believe in.
When is it time to hang it up? I'd be embarrassed at 30 telling someone I'm a aspiring rapper.
