Anyone else surprised by how well Tim Cook has done since Jobs died?

This right here. He already had a blueprint to follow so all he had to do was follow it and he did just that. Pretty sure buddy got brief from top to bottom

this

Steve had a very detailed roadmap laid out including the spaceship campus plus like 10 years of releases hashed out. People there are eager to work and I’m sure some were ok with Steve being gone so they could be free from his sometimes crazy behavior

Apple has been coasting on the same phone design for years plus make good $ off of services

Apple sells itself.
They could have had an intern lead them over the past several years and still would be seeing record/breaking profits.

Big fukking cap bro. Look at Microsoft under the Balmer years for an example of what a intern CEO of a too big too fail tech company looks like. Tim Cook took a company reeling off the death of prolly one of the top 3 most visible CEOs of that era and flipped 300Bs into 3Ts in just over 10 years. :wow:

If Jobs was still CEO y'all think Apple touching 3Ts right now???

Tim Cook > Steve Jobs.

I fukkING SAID IT

/Thread

Dude legit got me into Apple after being a Windows fanboy for almost two decades. The fact that he managed to focus on eliminating the unnecessary nonsense with Macbooks (the glowing Apple logo) to help cut costs, along with the success of the M1 processor...dude legit changed the game for a company that always steered to the fanboys and not so much the masses that want a change from the typical Windows shyt.

Steve Jobs pretty much gave the company over to Tim Cook and had him handling the distribution, logistics, ACTUAL RUNNING OF THE COMPANY in his late years because he knew Cook was just better at running a company than him bruh. All of Jobs ventures pretty much failed until he linked up with Cook. :stopitslime:
