NFC is a tough conference so they could easily get bounced in their first game again.

Without Gonzales next season 'Matty ice melt' may miss the playoffs.

We could get a Jacob Tamme esque dude to replace Gonzalez. He's good but it ain't 03 Gonzo we're talking about. We just need to shore up the lines on both sides and we'll be fine for years to come.

Yea. Because Tony plays offense, defense & special teams & also coaches the team.

he won't have to.

Yes, he will. He will run into either Brady or Manning, both of which can score on that defense. Might even run into Ben.

But as of now, he's seeing Peyton/Ben in the second round and the Broncos have a legit defense and they're better than they were earlier in the season.

Thing is if the Mike Smith let Matt Ryan do his thing they can match with the Packers or NYG. His Conservatism is going to cost his team. Plus their defense is more discipline than last year.

I still think Houston is better overall than both teams which means they'll have to do more work than he will, we'll get a better picture in a couple of weeks. I wanna see how Denver's D holds up against Doug Martin this week and Ray Rice in a couple of weeks, because the chiefs looked really good running the ball against them.

The AFC is gonna be pretty interesting going down the stretch. The top 3 teams can still get homefield which'll be huge.

We need another viable target to stretch the middle of the field to be as good as those offenses. Most of the top offenses have them.

Gonzalez is still great but painfully slow and Harry douglas hasn't made any progress since his rookie season.

There's also the fact that our playcalling gets predictable based on who is in the game at RB.

Gonzalez means WAY more to Ryan than the other way around.

There are at least 10 other TEs that could do exactly what Gonzalez is doing right now. probably even more than that.

and to @ryderldb, the Pats LOST to the Cardinals at home, what does that say about them?

I ain't gon lie, I'm gettin a lil nervous watchin us right now. We've looked mediocre since the Philly game especially at home. I'm not gonna make excuses for winning, but I'm gettin anxious brehs

Our defense has done more than what I would expect and that's with injuries. They're doing their part. Offense just hasn't come with the explosion everyone predicted.

With a few tweaks, I still believe in this offense though. Keotter has to become innovative. Oline is not playing well right now and its affecting the rest of the offense. We gotta get them thinking faster and making better decisions even it means simplifying the offense.

I think once we get a new RB it'll get much better. Need a dual threat out of the backfield at all times. Not saying Turner isn't good but I think at this point we're gonna need him to go for the offense to continue to grow. He isn't the right fit anymore, it takes dimensions away from us whenever he's in.

Plus we'd likely also need a bit more speed at TE/Slot receiver to work the middle of the field.

There is just something lacking about the Falcons even with their current record. But who knows maybe they will win it all.

Look y'all, folks just don't believe in the Falcons. I've accepted that. Falcons may be one and done yet again based on these past few performances.

If they win, great. I'm not expecting it though. They're not a storied franchise like the 49ers, Packers, or Giants. So people won't put faith in them at all. That's cool.

Just enjoy the ride. If the Falcons make it, they make it. If they don't, they don't. As long as the ride was enjoyable.
