Anyone else have no desire to move to the burbs in a big house and big yard

I bought my first house in the burbs. It's light years better than hood life. You can't escape idiots though, don't let that fool you. None of my immediate neighbors are black. They are white, Asian, Indian and Latino. Few of us around though. I don't have any complaints, except the commute. I want to move to Portland though man, either Portland or Seattle.

I hate burbs....too far from everything, no soul, no culture, no nightlife. Usually the only thing to do is shop.

The positives of city life far out weight the negatives for me...
