Comic view didn't pay for flight or hotel of the performers
Most of the comics were losing money just to show up.

They made it up on the back end though as Comic View was the first glimpse a lot of people had at these comics. Could you say you heard of Arnez J, Bruce Bruce, Earthquake, T. P. Hearn etc.... before then? Plus it wasn't like Def Comedy Jam which aired for a season then it was gone and if you missed an airing then you were out of luck, Comic View aired every night with plenty of reruns.

Shawn tends to get overlooked because he usually play more of the level-headed role compared to Marlon who's more over the top with his physical comedy.

Facts the Wayans show got better when Shawn was able to show out more.

Damon and Keenen are the funniest, hands down. Marlon is still stuck in ‘93, doing all that physical comedy, rolling around on the floor acting out jokes. Same gay impression he’s been doing since Mo Money
