Show is good but I don't think I like any of the characters
I just marathoned all the episodes. This shyt is overrated. It's not bad, but it's not great either.
It's like a 6/10
Guess that's what I get for thinking an ABC drama would be up to par with cable or the premium channels.

This is a solid TV show doesn't feel like it belongs on a network channel at all. The slow build up throughout the season so far has been great hope it ends with the same consiistancy they have shown throughout the season. The show is showing not just racism but the justice system in a way not too many TV shows and movies have depicted those topics beforehand.
I thought Aubrey was going to flip on Carter when she started her speech. Those 2 are the most frustating characters on the show... The Mexican dad is probably the most sympathetic the cat from the Shield is doing a good job here. The acting on the show is great all around.

Road trip on Tuesday for a day and a half gonna watch all eight episodes...can't wait.

The show is doing a great job of showing how the justice system throws blacks and latino's under the bus... the Mexican kid Tony went from going on'innocent' little joy rides in his pops car...whichh lead to him being connected to that murder case and being thrown in Juvie.. which led him to having low level criminal connections and commiting a felony... just from affilitiating with certain folks in juvenile hall he's getting sucked into a life of crime.
They've also kind of flipped real life scenarios with the 'hate crime' thing... and so the victims of the crime (who are white) are having their past and personal problems looked into in the same way they did Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown.
They've been trying to railroad Carter and dude is barely kind of waking up to it because of his sister SMH....

Yo, Aubry is beyond loony. Homegirl is playing the hell out of that role. They have some great actors on this show.

Definitely a good show.. Started off slow but definitely picking up. And the acting is amazing. The reason you hate all the characters is because it's supposed to be realistic (no over the top hero characters, just humans with flaws) and most of the actors are playing the hell out of their characters
