I hated Crash so much, so I'm a little leery about this, but the director involved as me intrigued. I'll check it out this weekend.

This is much better than Crash.

The pops and his son definitely fukked up not asking for a lawyer. Despite that, it's unfair for the kids to blame the father for what happened. He's supposed to be cool coming home late at night and some random dude is hugged up on his daughter? And of course he's gonna be on his son on some, "fukk up once and you'll be nothing but a Mexican to them" When I was 11 I was told by my pops I had to chill on running in public because people would get the :merchant: Regardless of your status, you fukk up and you become another minority that's up to no good, even if you're in a benz you're still a nikka in a coupe.

His son on some "It felt good to do something that would piss him off :banderas:" Well now you're in jail getting called a bytch by some white boys:ufdup:
Felicity Huffman's character gets the :pacspit: Heard 2 of the suspects were hispanic and started calling them illegals. Implying the black cop planted all the drugs. Calling the shyt a hate crime, complaining that there's no one speaking up for white people but if black people kill someone they get a bunch of support.

Interested to see if we'll get the media's take on the crime. At first it was 4 minorities coming together to kill a Iraqi vet and rape/beat his beauty queen wife. Now we know the vet was a drug dealer and his wife was getting trains ran on her.

Yeah, now that she's awake she can tell everything that happened the night of the murder but since this is TV she'll probably have amnesia or something like that.

This dumb white bytch cut off his bracelet:francis:

And dude just gonna go without hearing the entire plan

Follow a plan to elude the police while out on bail for murder hatched by a chick that can't go a couple hours without drugs brehs

His sister is gonna give him the :usure:

He sobered up, wasn't at risk of using again. All he had to do was chill in the apartment, go to work, help out with the mosque and he'd be straight.

The son is lost as fukk :snoop: How is it your father's fault you ended up in juvie :dahell:

Now she killed somebody :wow:

She OD'd. My man can't catch a break:damn:He couldn't even go a day without going back to jail:mjcry:

Checked it out on Hulu.

I hate the racist older woman with the glasses.

From how she looks to her lines to everything else. Just seeing her grinds my gears cuz she has that racist white look.

The Mexican dude who went to jails sister looks like she is mixed with black. Mexican chicks rarely have a nice body like that lol.

This show is addicting. Just watched all six episodes and man, that mom gets on my last damn nerves.

I'm willing to bet Hector plays their asses in court now that he got that deal.

'American Crime' Star Richard Cabral Reveals His Past of Crack Addiction, Life in Gangs

safe_image.php

American Crime star Richard Cabral shared how he went from former drug addict and gang member to finding redemption at East Los Angeles' Homeboy Industries on his way to stardom.

While his performance as Hector Tontz on American Crime is being lauded, Cabral knows that he's fortunate to be a free man.

"My family had been involved in gangs since the 1970s," Cabral told ET. "In this society you have to belong to something I feel, and all we have in the neighborhood is a gang. My father figures were all gang members."

Cabral's real life mirrors the character he plays -- raised by a single mom, in a gang by 13, addicted to crack at 15 and locked up by 20.

"I ended up getting five years, and it was an attempted murder," Cabral said. "I got caught up in it and I believe that if I didn't change my life at that moment, or at least strive for something, that I could have just ended up dead on the streets."

Cabral turned to Homeboy Industries to help change his life around. The social services organization takes high-risk former gang members and gives them training, jobs and hope. It was there that he was discovered for a role on Southland in 2009.

"They were looking for authentic guys from the street," Cabral said. "They invited us to Warner Bros. Studios. It was like 10 of us that went and they were like, 'Just read the lines.' And we read the lines and three of us booked it and I was one of the guys. That was like the spark. Like, 'Wow! I could do this?'"

Other gigs quickly followed. Cabral has been featured in NBC's Chicago Fire, HBO's Luck and Bruno Mars' "Grenade" music video.

While he's looking at a bright future that doesn't mean that Cabral is forgetting his past.

"I don't stray away from me," Cabral said. "I really embrace the person and the life that I came from because that made me who I am today."

American Crime airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
