I wouldn't call him a failure. I just don't think he fully understood the process of creating a school as well as the financial costs attached to it. It takes millions plus so much red tape. I really supported his idea.

The fdmg school never opened the lights are not on the electric is not on Windows haven't been fixed it still boarded up there's no working Plumbing yeah he's coming up with an idea to sell one of the buildings and build another school in another city when he can't even get the one he already got going?

Talks about the Moyer School Building (FDMG) changing ownership in March 2019.

EPA was supposed to reach out to Umar regarding the status of the school but he has not responded to.

The original plan was to raize the property tear it down basically because the Waterfront area had questionable guidelines as far as environmental safety by the EPA

Umar is honestly trying to make that school a reality. The problem is that his ego and pride are in the way of making this whole thing happen. He wants to do things his way or it isn't getting done at all. He should have hooked up with some financial experts on how to collect donations properly. He had people writing personal checks to him when he should have done all that through a foundation that he established. The tax implications on receiving that much money written to himself is crazy. He was way in over his head and those taxes from the school were owed by the previous owners which he inherited when he took control of the property. That should have been a road block that came up with the title company before any deal was made in writing.
