Here was an ex teacher from philly, talking bout black empowerment, black community keeping our money inside, black community building our own schools.... Doing speeches, dropping knowledge and asking for $5... Cool to me. I didn't send bread, but it sounded good.
Next thing I hear, he's a scammer stealing money. Fake doctor, there is no school, money is gone, he spent it....... But he goes for this case, wins it or doesn't lose per say, credentials check out, he ain't living rich to make me think he spent it, and low and behold, he buys a school.. Well shyt... He's gotta be on the up and up right? This is beautiful. School fukked up, but it's a start. We gonna do it brehs. We gonna see a black man build this from scratch......
Now we here. I still can't figure out how no fraud, theft, lawsuit, police report, nothing is going on after all these years... But the lack of planning, resources, knowhow, or the people around to guide this process, tells me something ain't right. And him still lying about it is the final nail.

Umar *was* the most legitimate of the three - he'd actually gone to school, sold books, and held professional positions before. He was in popular documentaries, regularly appeared in other media, and gave talks nationwide.
Polight is the lowest-tier of a scammer - he's openly stealing from his followers, skirting tax laws, and trying to run through as much p*ssy as possible under the guise of polyamory - he is constantly on the verge of actually catching felony charges. He can't step out into the mainstream for those obvious reasons.
Morrison is just running bad business - he is just trying to get over on a lot of people - he's not toeing the line regarding legality as much as Polight.
If he had started the online school - he'd have been able to make a genuine impact to millions of Black kids in the US - because online school is necessary during the COVID=19 pandemic.If he really wanted to be successful he would start an online academy. If he was more into education instead of personal esteem he would’ve humbled himself and hired credible staff and advisors.
He wants to be a savior (at best... an idol at worst) instead of just a man. Education is dirty and unflattering for those who care. It’s not glamorous and it’s not braggadocios. All of the relating himself to black icons, pomp and circumstance, and it continues to be for nothing.

Not the worst property in the world to purchase. There’s no change of use necessary. But at the same time even without the tax/mortgage debt he’s looking at:
$100,000+ in design fees
$120,000+ mechanical electrical plumbing upgrades
$20,000 new roof
$100,000 in misc repairs
$100,000 FF&E
All of which is/was doable if he wasn’t trying to reinvent the wheel and be a one man show.

Nah but it was a couple of years ago when he moved to Beverly Hills. He said that Umar didn't have an LLC or the proper non profit status, didn't have a board of directors not to mention all the shyt you'd need for a school.
He really tore him up but there was still time for Umar to make that right.
