According to Umar he had a million dollar donation and fukked it up by being a lying ass idiot. So either he lied about having a huge 7 figure donation or he fukked up a 7 figure donation. Either way is a bad look, but one of them deads the "he ain't have the resources" excuse. He had a platform but proved himself incapable of utilizing the resources with any competence or leadership. Or he was just flat out swindling.

Umar Johnson is an educator from Philadelphia he came on the scene in the conscious community in the early 2010 talking about propaganda against black boys in the educational system in the school-to-prison pipeline
He was pitching this idea of a pan-african school for education for young black boys that would have been privately owned and tuition debased and he has been peddling this idea for a decade now with nothing to show for it except three foreclosed buildings and through living off the donations of so many black folks that believed in the idea like a bum.
