Trilogy

Part 1. The Sun Will Also Shine (Mind)

My ambition is to turn silent passion into a masterpiece which when finished will be embedded into your memory. A screenplay of such epic proportions that that the scope of it rivals The Lord Of The Rings trilogy. In the way that Hemingway captured literary stars and Salinger redefined genius with the very stroke of his pen. In this way I wish to catch the shooting star that is your heart and that would serve as the only Pulitzer Prize that I hope to win. You see the truth is that even when I'm not within your vicinity, the frame of you is never far from the deepest recesses of my mind. A metaphor of such would be that even in the darkest vacuums of Space, even in that place will the Sun also shine. Warmth is found when you speak to me even if it's only a short and brief hello. The musical tones of your voice are a symphony of pitch perfect blend of violins, flutes, and cellos. Electric excitement is experienced at your mere touch even if its the most fleeting surface of your hand. Awash at sea is my every mental fiber and at your lovely fingertips do I find shelter on the land. Blind I wander a vast emptiness searching for the smallest salvation even in the dimmest light. And as I look upon your eyes it is instantly known that you are the Muse for whom I was most assuredly born to write. My only desire is that this is read and understood to be a chronicle of a woman who was once only thought to exist in ancient and mythical tales. A Goddess so beautiful that in her legend she was spoken of as rarely as the Holy Grail. A being that came before even the presence of written word and with the coming of ages reincarnated anew. Your name printed by my hand so that this is confused with no other, the inspiration is purely you. Dusk settles on our side of the equator and so as not to bore you I will conclude this portion of our story for a time. Not to repeat what was said before, but as the stars begin to twinkle in the night you will still remain the subject that is foremost on my mind. So until the Dawn's awakening which brings new birth at the shining Sun...

I give you an ending to this poem yet keep in thought, this was only ever Part One.....

Part 2. A Kiss From Calypso (Body)

As the masters of the sciences study mathematical equations, the concept of Pi and the dark side of the moon through an ever curious telescopic view. The true answer of why the Sky holds the Heavens and the Earth spins on its axis is simply because you inspire it too. Ancient texts are read while searching for the genesis of modern language, what dialect originated from the lands from with which our forefathers came? Only to find that the true importance of various accents and jargon is that every culture has a unique idiom of speaking your name. Enchanted by every diamond curve of your body, I dream within a dream the silent aching of a man trapped within your prism. A perfect ten, fine as the most divine, a Goddess crafted in black gold, none of these monikers could even begin to describe your beautiful eroticism. Sensuality walking through the world, intoxicating the very words with which I write down on this paper. A longing to hold you for just the fading moments of the night, a desire to taste the honey from your suckle that not once has ever wavered. Before Halle was named most attractive or Beyonce was hailed as something great. They both were required to bow before your presence as loveliness was the name given to you at birth and so serves your fate. Before boys likened themselves to players and men dared fashioned themselves as pimps. They all knelt as gentlemen to kiss your hand, as one smile from you created within their hearts a permanent dent. Before even one rhyme was written or even inspired was a word from any of the above. In the twilight of my inner imagination did I fantasize about caressing your skin in efforts to create the definition of making love. I'd have to only envision that within the ocean of nirvana your soul continues to rise and levitate. Creating within heaven's kingdom the overwhelming need of the Angels to rejoice and celebrate. And for that reason alone I script these praises and refuse to even for one second consider holding my tongue. Because amongst even the most radiant of women you continually stand in the forefront which marks you as the One. The only lady who could stop a man dead in his tracks with a cold feeling of euphoria sweeping up and down his spine. A celestial monarch whose wonder couldn't be dampened by the perception of space nor time. So now as the middle section consummates and comes to a rather interesting climax. I leave you not with idle musings nor naive rambling, simply a short statement of fact. If after an eternity of searching for the right words to craft in appreciation of you, I haven't yet managed to pierce even a fragment of your heart then how ever could I hope to attain your affection's key?

Well I still have one last chance before the Sagas end, let the circle be completed in Part 3....

Part 3. The Golden Eye Of God (Soul)

As the final chapter frees itself from the realm of my imagination and encapsulates within the garden of your soul. There is only a singular objective that challenges me to write as if the world depended on a magnum opus, and to deliver such is now my only true goal. An ocean of the purest form of Agape resides in your spirit and once it overflows the torrent can never be made to cease or to stop. All I'm fighting for at this very moment is that there is but one morsel of love marked with my name on it, even if it is but the tiniest drop. My feelings for you are endless and yet they are selfish for in my flawed persona I have to confess. That what I long for with every fiber of my body is to spend every moment that I can in your presence, and yet there are others far more worthy to be so blessed. As luck would have it I am but one of many who will admire you throughout your life as the aura of your exquisite flawlessness is no mere trick of literary facade. You were hand-picked to be shaped in ebony perfection at the celestial forges by none other than the golden eye of God. So who am I to be jealous at the suitors for your favor or forlorn at the many with whom you have attracted an unquenchable fire. Beauty is your talent and mesmeric your endowment and just as the wonders of the world they were put here for all to admire. So I cherish my time within your glow and count myself favored to say that I was briefly beside you even though yours is a radiance which is always sorely missed. I hold back from trying to take too much of your attention even though it is with every star in twilight's sky that I wish just once more for your kiss. Shakespeare once wrote that romance was fated to end in tragedy but he was never so rewarded as to have lain his eyes upon you. A melody of lush orchestration, a lyric of unlimited emotion, and a song composed from the most resplendent point of view. Meant for much more than even I could fathom these writings serve as only a shape of the glory sure to come. There will be sonnets dictated in the tomes of history of your deeds once it all has been said and done. So this volume comes to an end, an anthology written in trinity; an ode to a woman who has served as my muse and joyful am I to have in your life played a small role. The chronicles of You as authored by one who will forever long for you from afar.....

And I love you Mind, Body, and Soul.

Norfeast groovin…
Brehs and sistrehs, writer's block is a bytch that frequents my life far too much. I've been reading like shyt but its strange to me, even at times when I can write (like now) I feel this huge block as if I'm wondering "Ok, write what?" To know the rust out I've taken up writing definitions from the dictionary. Sometimes I work in my left hand journal but I've all but mastered my other hand so it feels redundant. The good thing is I have this huge logjam of ideas in my head but they all involve different things. I wanna get more into screen writing, script writing, and novel writing especially.

What kinda books yall think are good for learning those things? And what are the best methods to get out of writer's block? Force the action? Let it come naturally? Is there even such thing as writer's block at all? :yeshrug:
