Are you a student or are you just moving there or got a job there?

I don't know much about Jackson, but I haven't heard much positive about it. Fairly close to Ann Arbor and Detroit though.

I lived in Grand Rapids for a little under five years. It's a fairly nice town, though I preferred Kalamazoo (lived there for about five years too). They'll have some decent concerts and Art Prize is pretty cool, but if you're looking for a big city vibe, you're not gonna get it.

As a matter of fact, there aren't any "big" cities in Michigan and if you're looking for something like Chicago or New York, you're not gonna find anything close to it. The state is geared more towards outdoors activities, rather than spectacular cities. If you like the beach, fishing, camping, etc., you'll love it (if you can find a job). A beautiful state, but there's some very run down towns and cities too.

Lansing's a fun town (East Lansing in particular) because it's a college town area, like Kalamazoo. MSU has a fantastic campus.

Nah, I got fam I'm going to visit soon. I just wanted to know what the areas are like and what the cities are like. I appreciate the feedback, breh.

Don't go there unless you got family. Ain't shyt there but trouble and nutcases.

Detroit and Metro Detroit areas (Southfield, mainly)- You can find a bunch of females. They got a surplus of females. But watch out of hatin dudes. (They do have some fire weed in the area and its not hard to find) Casinos are fun but be careful at certain times of night.

Pontiac (The Yak)- Hood, but you can look like a donkey and get some ass. Hit up the only clubs in the area and you will get some ass. Not difficult at all. (Tonic and Tiki Bobs)

Ann Arbor/ Ypsi- Good College area, good weed, different types of women. Ann Arbor is laid back but Ypsi is ghetto as hell. LOL Great food...Zingermanns and I fukks with Tios or Big Ten Burrito.

Benton Harbor- Went there one time, they had a riot over some dude who died during a motorcycle chase.

Grand Rapids- AKA G-Rap- I don't hear too many stories about G-Rap but I always wondered why they call G-Rap...

Bum ass Lansing---lol---East Lansing- Another area that has a surplus of females. Good food and pretty good parties. I spent a good amount of time in college driving from Ann Arbor to East Lansing. Females were pretty agreeable...lol

Pretty accurate. I don't think Tiki Bob's is open anymore though. I was just in Pontiac last weekend and the only spot's popping on Saturday night were Elektricity & Tonic.

If you want to go to a DOPE spot on a Saturday night, trust me...go to Orchid in Ferndale. It's hip-hop, old-school, and top 40 night. They do $2 you-call-it's til 11 and cover's only $5 after 11. shyt's beautiful.

MAD broads and diversity in there too. Older chicks, younger chicks, everything in between. It's a beautiful thing.

I've never been to Michigan but houses there are dirt cheap and I wanted to buy homes to rent out when I get my money up but I dont wanna die while visiting

G-Rap here. The weather is absolute bullshyt. Im from Illinois and this winter was the first time ever ive seen it snow virtually nonstop for like 2 weeks.

Nightlife around here seems to be picking up, if you are a beer guy Grand Rapids is just about heaven. I live in the downtown area and am in walking distance to 3 pretty much world class breweries.
