Random ass weather, boring for the most part in the downriver area. It's nice since we don't really get too much of anything concerning weather. Alot of bullshyt construction though.

What's it like for the most part in certain cities? Are the cities big? Like what's it like in Jackson MI, Lansing MI or Grand Rapids MI?

Are you a student or are you just moving there or got a job there?

I don't know much about Jackson, but I haven't heard much positive about it. Fairly close to Ann Arbor and Detroit though.

I lived in Grand Rapids for a little under five years. It's a fairly nice town, though I preferred Kalamazoo (lived there for about five years too). They'll have some decent concerts and Art Prize is pretty cool, but if you're looking for a big city vibe, you're not gonna get it.

As a matter of fact, there aren't any "big" cities in Michigan and if you're looking for something like Chicago or New York, you're not gonna find anything close to it. The state is geared more towards outdoors activities, rather than spectacular cities. If you like the beach, fishing, camping, etc., you'll love it (if you can find a job). A beautiful state, but there's some very run down towns and cities too.

Lansing's a fun town (East Lansing in particular) because it's a college town area, like Kalamazoo. MSU has a fantastic campus.

I got fam in Lansing and Detroit and it was ok:yeshrug: A girl who I was really into moved to grand rapids:wow:

Maybe @Regular_P can help you:ehh:

Breh, I moved to Denver a year and a half ago. It sucks here. I miss The Mitten and the midwest. :bryan:

I use to live in Western Michigan (well went to school). Grand Rapids is decent. It's pretty much a College Town. Same with Lansing.

I'm not as familiar with Eatern MI as much as West MI but, i think the economy on that side of the state is a bit worse that West MI.

The weather sucks but Michigan is Okay in my book. I like it even more than Illinois :ehh:
