I'll be honest, if not for the video games I played as a child... I probably wouldn't care much about Star Wars
The week after Biggie got killed was my spring break, so I essentially spent the whole week listening to Makaveli and playing Shadows of the Empire
That game was so thorough
To respond to the OP, I'll probably watch it at some point, but I'm not a huge fan ... I've seen all the movies, but it's not a cultural touchstone for me

I watched the first 3 and NOT episode 1-3 but the first 3 released. I've seen them all and can not get into it. I've tried multiple times and I realize I'm not into those EPIC movies. Lord of the rings, the hobbit anything Dungeons and dragons never been into any of that
No disrespect to y'all dudes, but I never watched any of the movies and honestly it never seemed appealing to me.
Maybe if I watched it when I was younger and wasn't already familiar with the whole "Luke I am your father" shyt, but I just don't get it

i loved star wars as a kid, the old movies & the games & action figures. the last 3 movies were already shyt but i will definately watch the new one once a good quality stream is out. but all those grownups dressing up and camping , that's not for me

Why can't I ask a question about this franchise's appeal? I'm ignorant of it, so school me on it. Plain and simple
I've met people who faithfully watched LOTR, asked them the appeal, and they were able to explain it to without getting defensive
I've meet 2 women who flew out from Austrailia to LA for a fukking Zena: Princess Warrior Convention, and they were able to explain the appeal of the show to me without getting defensive, yet I do it here for Star Wars and it's "YOU'VE NEVER SEEN STAR WARS? YOU DON'T HAVE A FATHER"
I'd think the Sci-fi Movie with arguably the most fans would be able to do the same without getting defensive, but I guess not
It was the only time America actually showed any wide spread actual morality as a grassroots phenomenon.
Plus, it created the American draw based pop phenomenon.

I care more for the black actor that got the cacs mad. Besides that im anticipating Batman v Superman, Civil war, Sucide Squad and Deadpool more than star wars. As a kid i didnt liked it much. Star Trek is wack too and those other sci fi shows like Babylon whatever.
